It's typical criminal behavior. They try to pin the whole issue on one officer being mean and try to turn his friends against him to gain control of the situation. It works better in jail where sometimes officers aren't on the same page than it does on the street. Which is why they do it.

The thing is there are enough videos where it does. Countless videos where the first police on the scene are under the mistaken belief that they are entitled to someone's ID (In some states you are not required to ID until you are lawfully arrested, in others you require to ID if the officer has reasonable articulable suspicion that you have, are, or are about to commit a crime), simply because "we got a call" but that isn't true. Arrest for the secondary offence of failure to ID, or obstruction is threatened, a supervisor is called and the supervisor advises the officer the individual isn't required to ID. In this case the call appears to have been in relation to a trespass but when the officer attends the guy has already left so there's no police action to be taken in respect of a trespass and no requirement to ID at that point. However, assuming there are public intoxication rules in place where this happened they likely could demand ID for that.
