Can you recommend some friendly forums and chin groups ? I’m trying to learn about reality of owning chins before I get them

I don't really go on many forums or groups anymore but the fb group chinchillasRus is quite a friendly group. But to be honest I don't go on any of them much nowadays.

@@AllysAnimalAntics Thank you so much for replying Would you recommend chins as great pets?
@AllysAnimalAntics11 ай бұрын
@@lenajazuk4231 They can make great pets. They are a little on the messy side but it is quite easy to clean up the mess. Some can be quite skittish but woth enough time they will normally come out of their shell.

@@AllysAnimalAntics I own guinea pigs that I have to clean up after twice a day, a bunny that does quite a bit of mess every day so mess is not a problem for me I honestly think Guinean pigs are the messiest of all rodents 😂, it’s insane how much they poop and pee !!😂 Chins are easy to clean up after I’m scared of health issues because they are more sensitive to sedation What if they are picky and do t eat hay or not enough and it will cause overgrown teeth? Are they picky with hay ? Quality of Timothy hay is always changing from bag to bag You are probably thinking “she is nuts and shouldn’t have any small animals if she worries so much “ 😂😂 It’s me !😂

@@lenajazuk4231 Most chinchillas love hay but if you have a picky eater you can give them block hay everyday and loose hay a couple of times a week, that's what some breeders in US do. You can also give them blocks of wood to chew on which help with their teeth.
