Hi there MIGHTY WARRIOR. Thank you for your honesty. You are helping so many people who are either going through the same thing or has a loved one going through it. In my case, you are helping me to understand what my Mom and two of my three sisters went through during their battle, I had no clue because all three of them never explained any of it. Thank you, thank you, thank you for enlightening me so now I know better how to minister to others. Please know you are in my daily prayers. Keep on going girl, you are doing super! 💖

Love those belts. I remember after my mastectomy, I was shocked at how cold ice water was going down. It was like there was nothing on that side to absorb the chill. A strange sensation, so you feeling colder makes sense. Praying for you.

I remember feeling hypothermic walking through the grocery store and still have some issues with temperature regulation…but it’s doable. The fill process for me was rough, too…but it will get better. I remember the dread, too. I was working full time while I was going through all that and didn’t realize the impact activity has on it. I’m sorry you have to go through all this, but when they do the transfer, you’ll be way more comfy! The upside, though is I’ve been allowed by the grace of God, to be cancer free since 2005! That’s something to look forward to! I’m praying for you, my friend! Oh, and I discovered I was allergic to the Valium, so I just went in cold turkey. Not fun, but the alternative is much worse!

I love that someone else calls it supper. When I relocated to Cali from Indiana in 2015 when I said supper everyone looked at me so strange. They said what is supper? There are so many cultural differences. Lol

If your doctor is ok with it he can send a new script with a new dosage on it and you can get it filled before the 30 days are up. Just has to be tweaked a bit and although the laws are so strict on narcotics/controlled meds it is possible to get more for those that are truly in pain exponentially. I am hoping this passes quickly for you because it does seem very painful. I had breast reduction surgery and that was a pretty painful surgery and recovery. But the expander process seems even more painful. With the liposuction it sounds an even more painful recovery.

Hi Melissa I am fairly new to your videos you seem like a wonderful very quiet woman your home is very beautiful your spirit is just so lovely your children Sim to be very well mannered don't see your husband too much what does he do at the hospital and you seem to not spend too much on yourself and if you do it's secondhand I have a hard time doing that I like to shop and I spend real money on myself my husband works very hard for us and at this point right now I am not working I had a knee replacement 7 months ago and my knee is still not right I'm in a lot of pain so I can understand your pain just a different area I am a Christian and I certainly can pray for you thank you for your videos

Thinking of you Melissa.......I went thru' the same, filled my expanders to 600cc and my dr. put in 650 cc implants. I didn't do the lippo tho'. It's 6 years after the fact for me. Same as you , no lymph node involvement, and stage 1. Found out thru' it all I carry the BRCA 2 gene mutation reason for the cancer caught on a mammogram. Please tell me what hormonal pill you are taking and for how long are they saying for you. Thanks Mielissa......life is never dull, and we learn how brave we are.

Melissa, can't they give you something for pain? I know you don't want to take it but during this time it might be a good thing. Besides that I admire you so much. My sister had a breast removed 25 years ago and reconstruction. The good thing is the cancer never came back!!

My god you are brave! I can't even imagine the excruciating pain you are in. Consult with your doctor to get you more medicine, there are ways to get around insurance restrictions, you shouldn't have to be worrying about stretching out your meds. WE are all praying for you daily! I love Thred Up you can find amazing things .....super cute finds....love both jackets!

This is the second comment that you have made regarding this. I am not understanding what energy you are trying to bring to this space, or why you think that it is your place to say what is necessary for me in my life, nor what you choose to do for you is not my business either. Here we bring positivity, love, and grace to each other. If that is not what you are willing to bring with you when you are here, this probably isn't the space that you would enjoy being in.

So confused, i did not have expanders, just one & done, breast are just baby bottles, you dont need them if you’re not breast feeding, unnecessary pain.

I'm not sure why it's confusing... but for me, I still wanted to have breasts after my mastectomy. I am 45 and I personally appreciate the feminine offering that breasts give. This was my choice, one that everyone has to make on their own. We each get to choose what life after cancer will be and for me it was having the option to return my body to as close to its 'original state' before cancer as I could.
