It was said repeatedly yesterday. Sonny is too smart, too much of a pro, to let something like this happen. He fed Cyrus a fake delivery schedule. I am thinking that Sonny set this up to make one of the fake deliveries look real to see what would happen. He probably thought that the shipment would be hit, maybe stolen. What he maybe wasn't counting on was the feds getting involved. I'm not sure what was in those crates but I am betting that it wasn't weapons. Maybe coffee so that it weighed something instead of being empty? Also, Diane was really calm cool and collected. Yea I know that she always is but this time I almost looked like she knew what Sonny was up to.

Something to consider, no matter how lucrative the Pikeman deal was, wouldn’t pre-Nixon Falls Sonny have passed on it? He was known not to traffic in drugs, and not to allow anyone else to in his territory! didn’t he have a similar ban on arms trading, except when forced into it by Carly’s kidnapping? At the very least, shouldn’t he have kept in mind the big dangerous mess that happened the last time weapon shipments were landing in Port Charles, involving Paul Hornsby? Sonny was in a wheelchair, (may or may not have been related) a pre-diagnosis Morgan was out of control, Kiki got shot, and a church full of wedding guests were held hostage!
