"Whenever I Call You Friend" was one of those songs that made living life feel like magic, the first time I heard it playing on the radio. The mid 1970's music had me believing I could accomplish anything. The joy was on a spiritual level. "Laughter In The Rain" by Neil Sedaka, "Moonlight Feels Right" by Starbuck, "Sunshower" by Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band and "Native New Yorker" by Odyssey are just a few that I can remember. It seriously seemed like whatever genre of radio station I was listening to, was playing music that had me feeling joy. P.S. it sure is nice to get the notification for your new videos. There's something delightful about being able to see you, Barry and Andy.

Kenny Loggins was a real favorite in the 70s. He did an album called “Celebrate Me Home”. Played through multiple copies. Not a bad track on it. You did such a fun video reacting to this one.

Ok.... this song was a HuGe part of my childhood. I can't really think of anything better than to watch someone I refer to with my Old GUy Friends as "my little girl" react to this. You're so right....Kenny Loggins was a large part of both blue-eyed soul and 80's movie soundtracks.

Kenny is all that, BUT Stevie is the one you want when you think of harmonies. She is always such a giving musical partner. If you have reacted to her Fleetwood Mac or solo stuff, I'm so glad for you. a lot of joy coming your way. yeah, they did this one. One of Stevie Nicks best vocals EVER recorded.

You like Michael McDonald. You should hear him sing You Belong to Me. He wrote this with Carly Simon and they each sang it individually. I like Michaels better but Carly’s was a huge hit too.
