It seemed many areas of Da nang were spared the severe damage from Typhoon Noru that parts of Quan Am province experienced. I was truly impressed with not only how organized and prepared locals were but also how ready everyone was to pick up the pieces, clean up the neighbourhood and get back to business. Later speaking with one of my neighbors locals have learned a great deal in the last 20 years in how to prepare for a typhoon and the resources they have access to now via social media and the web, at least in my neighborhood it's helped tremendously. Hope you enjoy the videos and learn something more about Vietnam and it's people.

Thank you John for your works and shared the videos to show the local prep works and the aftermath of Noru typhoon in Danang. It’s very informative video as always. Specially the interviewing with local folks to see how they felt and dwelled with the storm. I am very glad that it’s passed and over. Stay safe!.

glad to see the resilence and resourcefulness of the Vietnamese. We could learn a few things from them here in the U.S. Thank you.

Goodday John, Considering how resilient the Vietnamese are this is nothing to them, they will be back up & running in 3 days you watch, if I know a thing or 2 about Vietnamese they don't want to go too long without earning a income. Stay safe Buddy Your number 1 Fan in Australia Louis Kats from Melbourne Australia ☺ 👍 ❤

What a strong wind that was for all the people in Da Nang. How do you like Da Nang. We were in Da Nang on this pass August. Love the cleanliness of the street compared to Ho Chi Minh. Do you have a video of the cost for health insurance and the cost of living now with the inflation? Thank you for sharing this experience with us.

Thanks for this video, so helpful and I am so relived for the locals. Do I recognise that you're staying near the Marble mountains? I am coming to Da Nang next week and staying at Vin Pearl, have been wondering if we should still come, judging from your video it looks like we should :)

The likelihood of another typhoon coming through soon is unlikely but do be prepared for the rain.

Perhaps people wouldn’t know as of yet. Would it be best to cancel flights in a weeks time to da nang? How fast would this sort of flooding take to go down ?
@iamjohnsaboe

It’s very likely things should be back to normal in a week.

Typhoons reaching Vietnam are less weaker maybe 30% than first hitting my Philippines. Not too good thou for Vietnam coz most progressive places face the east coast where typhoon comes not like Philippines progressive places are in west coasts or at inland centers

Yes The Philippines always feels the brunt of the typhoons of the region.
