It seemed many areas of Da nang were spared the severe damage from Typhoon Noru that parts of Quan Am province experienced. I was truly impressed with not only how organized and prepared locals were but also how ready everyone was to pick up the pieces, clean up the neighbourhood and get back to business. Later speaking with one of my neighbors locals have learned a great deal in the last 20 years in how to prepare for a typhoon and the resources they have access to now via social media and the web, at least in my neighborhood it's helped tremendously.
