After my last thrift with me, I was feeling a little dissatisfied because I am really trying to find more tops especially for summer so the plan for today was to thrift a dream summer wardrobe!! Although the thrift store had other plans...still good...just not necessarily what I was looking for 😅

In my opinion, you should try to recreate the aesthetics that were in the mystery boxes, but from clothes you already have in your closet This will help you look at your clothes in a different way

something that could help you feel more inspired and excited about your wardrobe, and at the same time would be a great video idea, is asking an influencer to style you via an app (using a digital wardrobe). alternatively, ask around irl - maybe friends, your husband, your family even! could style some outfits for you. lainiozark did this type of video recently, she had 3 different influencers style her ☺️ that’s just an idea i had when i listened to the intro, now i’m back to watching the rest of the vid ♥️ kisses!!!

I definitely hate how oversaturated thrift stores have become with Shein clothes! Seeing something super cute then touching it and discovering it's made with the worst fabric known to man, and the thrift store is probably charging more than it was originally sold online for, is devastating. I totally understand people are gonna donate stuff from there, but thrift stores shouldn't charge full price for mass produced cheap clothes like that. Seeing a Shein top be the same price as something from like, Blair, is a little ridiculous. I'm open to thrifting whatever as long as the fabric doesn't bother me, but I can't justify spending $7 on not only a Shein piece, but a secondhand Shein piece that may have already gotten a lot of wear. Okay rant over lol, I really love watching your stuff! And that Miffy shirt is super cute

@@simplelittle ?? It was just the first vintage brand that came to mind that I find a lot in thrift stores, jeez. I happen to have the cutest lavender butterfly print maxi skirt from Blair that I thrifted, idk about their other stuff but it is probably my favorite skirt that I own.

Hi Alexa! If you are in a style rut, maybe you could recreate pinterest/instagram outfits! I feel like the best way to feel reinspired by your closet is to play with your clothes 😊 I've been documenting my outfits on an app and it made me fall back in love with my wardrobe now that I see all the great outfits I can create with what I already own (+ I discovered the 3 words method by Allison Bornstein and I find it really inspiring to find/rediscover your personal style!)

Girl, I think you should wear the skirt anytime of the year that is a beautiful skirt on you and I want to start breaking the society where you have to wear certain colors during the certain years if it makes you happy and it makes you feel good wear it, don’t worry about what other people say, because in the end, it all comes down to how you feel

Loved the pink clock. You might try truning the v's around and put in the back. It works with some tops but not with others. You just have to try. For some reason, the red nighty reminds me of Annie.

I've been bleh with my wardrobe as well, so I went to the thrift store. I found the most amazing plaid pants from Zara and a Dirty Dancing t-shirt from H&M. I felt so lucky because honestly, the last few times at the thrift store were a bust.

I think the blue top in the beginning with the ribbon in the back was handmade/crocheted by someone! If it didn’t have a tag, I don’t think it was shein because it looks like really nice quality (I crochet also and it looks pretty nice to me). I would try to find it again if you can go back!!! It was super pretty ❤️

I Love that depop/Poshmark have stuff that I have a hard time thrifting, however I always look at the totals (price+shipping costs) and get a bit peeved that I know that if I could find the item at the thrift it would be half the total for most things 😓 but I do still use the apps for rare / well priced stuff I know I struggle to find 😊 Also! What brand are those shorts !
