Alexa, not sure if this is the right vid, and I say this with all the love, but this is something I’ve seen you do in so many videos: anticipating people’s criticisms of you and preemptively explaining yourself and your choices. The example I’m thinking of is about not ironing or steaming your clothes?!? Girl, you don’t need to explain yourself. Anyone who is going to criticize you isn’t gonna care if you explain all your decisions anyway. It’s your channel. People who hate watch you are still giving you views, so they’re supporting you either way! I’ve probably watched nearly all of your content, and as a true viewer and fan, I can tell you that your content can only benefit from you stopping explaining all of your choices only to defend against the haters. Tell us your process, awesome. If you’re explaining in order to relieve anxiety about backlash, you don’t need to. ❤

Over from Jenna's channel here! Fun Video, love your collabs with her! Never feel silly getting a knitter something knitted, as long as it's made of a nice fiber ( i prefer natural fibers but as it feels nice and not itchy) and it's cute like the ones you found, the person will appreciate it! Knitting is fun, but can be really hard on your hands so having a sweater you didn't have to knit is always nice! I just got 2 off an online thrift store and I Love them! Happy holidays to ya 😀

Getting knitted things for someone who can knit isn't off limits. especially like that fine gauge yellow cashmere- it would take forever to knit that fine a gauge by hand.

Merry christmas!! I was devastated to see that yellow cashmere sweater not make the cut! For northerner (and as a northerner), merino and cashmere are so cozy and clutch! I often shop for those materials for winter warmth! 25 isnt bad for cashmere pricing too (its often really expensive cuz its more "luxe", I feel like, even on Thredup and other thrifting places). It also isnt a common knitting material (like acrylic and cotton yarn is) and yarn for it are def on the pricier end. Just some food for thought for future winter shoppings! Merry christmas, again, and hope you have a happy sunshiney new year!!

Canada thrifts are very hit and miss but… every once in a while you find the CUTEST fleece or knit cardigans. Found one here the other day with bears on it in a forest and it’s soooooo cute!

I would specifically recommend thrifting in Winnipeg - my hometown and honestly a garbage city but there are basically no secondhand resellers there which means the thrift stores are GOLD. I recently got a vintage wool coat for $30, which was similar to one I saw on Etsy for $300. Tons of vintage Calvin, tons of amazing vintage shoes.
