My sister had a sil that was from the Philippines and made them. They were basically this but with beef and slaw. They are amazing!

Good morning. I liked your video. I use rotisserie chicken that I got from the store already deboned. I add some coleslaw veggies, onion & garlic powder and teriyaki sauce. Then I put that with rice or on a bead of lettuce. That's my version of a rice or lettuce bowl. I am a dialysis patient and I can't have very many fried foods or peanut putter. I'm gonna try your sauce minus the peanut butter because I can have honey. I also make some rice dressing in the fall and make eggrolls with that and they do boudin eggrolls at the meat market in the fall and winter. (I live in South Louisiana) Have a great day.😎

You can make them with just about anything!!! My family really liked them so I will be making them More often. And also going to make ahead for freezer Just to take out and heat. Easy for Andy to fix for himself. 😉🧩

I’ve only ever heard of these in American 🇺🇸 movies!! Can’t wait to see what they actually are. I’m betting that there’s an Aussie version but has a different name…🤣🤣🤣lols!

Update… Yes these are called ‘Spring Rolls’…every Chinese restaurant sells them here! 😂😅

We also have spring rolls here. I think the difference is the wrapper. Maybe egg rolls are larger. And I think spring rolls are rice paper wrappers. Not sure. 🤔

Good morning Lynne and Andy! My husband loved Chinese food and because we live in the middle of nowhere I learned to make several Chinese dishes, one of them being egg rolls. Our favorite way is deep fried, I found pan frying they actually soaked up more oil, I think maybe I could never get my oil to the right temperature and my baked ones turned out tough and dry. Please let us know how they both turned out. I would love to bake mine. BTW what temp did you bake yours on. Thanks a million for your hard work!

The baked ones didn’t turn out well at all. Like you said they were hard and tough. Won’t be baking them again. Might try deep frying But the fried ones were delicious and Andy loves them. I am going to make some for the freezer soon. And make some breakfast ones as well. I think it would be something he could just heat up in the microwave and enjoy.

He likes just about anything. He always starts with five guys. I am going to take him for a hotdog soon to our favorite drive thru place. And if you know where they are you will know where we live. It’s regional place. But they have the absolute best hotdogs. I will film it for everyone to see.
