I would have put everything in the crock pot using a liner. You can add smoked sausage, hotdogs, catsup, a little mustard , onions. I would just cook them all at once then divide then freeze. You can use aluminum foil pans to cook smaller portions.

Lynn, does Andy and your husband have a set time the like to eat? I know my husband expected me to have his supper ready within 20 minutes of the time he got home and because I didn't get home until about 30 minutes before he did it could be challenging, so I learned shortcuts and meal prep usually over the weekends.

I like your videos. On a week day dinner, you prepare things I would do. It's not something that takes a whole lot of time. Within an hour or less, you have dinner on the table. I would keep more complex meals for the weekend when I had the time to prep my vegtables for the week. Haters hate and we won't change them. I agree with you, delete them. Philly cheese steak sandwiches are a favorite of mine.

I’ve never had chicken that way. However, I started using an instant pot about 7 Yrs ago. If you’ve never used one you are missing out on tender meat in so little time. I can cook a frozen pot roast in 3 1/2 hrs frozen chicken in less than an hour. If it’s thawed and skinny like that chicken it’ll take mins and it’s so very tender. I do stews, soups, potatoes, noodles, beans , rice all meats. It’s crazy. You just add broth and seasoning set the timer and walk away. If you gushed it wrong put it on sauté and leave it for a few more I rarely cook in anything else. I do enjoy fried things occasionally so I’ve been doing some of that lately watching your videos. I love that you share your mothers recipes and your son makes his appearance now and then and teases you. I’m sorry he had a bad day. We have autism in our family not on the scale he has it but I love that you make no excuses for him and it’s your home and he’s part of it. I love your channel!

My brother and my daughter have been asking if I was making any this year so now I can say yes, but I believe I will add in the spices I really liked that. We love it with dry beans, on hot dogs and hamburgers and on cream cheese! It is delicious. I am also going to try the caramelized onion jam!! Thank you so much.❤
