In the 80s and 90s I used to take down buildings by hand in Ireland to strip out all the pine flooring, shutters, joists, rafters. Basically any wood we could get out of them. We de-nailed everything and then loaded it into containers and sent it to the US, where guys made it into vintage style furniture. The irony of you knocking the old wooden house of a guy that used to make furniture.

Jeff, If it weren't for the termites holding hands, that old homestead would have fallen down years ago. I seen the end look first on Chris's channel, this is such a beautiful lot with plenty of potential, the mature trees are absolutely stunning.

Geoff, I LOVE the drone video. I love seeing this from Chris's cab but this was really neat and shows the power of the 220. Josh's NO when you guys kept asking him about the house was priceless. Unlike the 1910 house, this didn't have good bones or even a real foundation. After Chris cleaned it all up, that part of the lot looked really good and I think you could move the new house closer in. What a beautiful lot. Thanks for sharing both the laughs and your perspective.

One thing that I noticed in this demolition of this Termite infested abode was the lack of insulation in the ceiling,walls or floor. About that money in the shoe box. I wouldn't advise in trying to use any of it cause you may find yourself in a cement house with bars and not the drinking kind either. Bye now, happy Friday

House doesn't actually look that old (I mean post WW2...) - any idea when it was built Geoff? Just had my roof redone - put up in 1864 & the main beams were toast. 95% of the original slates went back on. Remains of the beams are now becoming bifold screens & cabinet door frames, as old growth timber beats new stuff every time.

Was this on a septic system and if so is that something you'll need to somehow remove?

The USA is not that big in the greater scheme of things. Only your profit motive exceeds its comparative size. Love your content though.
