Btw Bealy, while Chris was dumping gravel into the crawlspace, someone was a boss on that skid steer bringing in gravel. Was that you or Randy?

Dang Bealy Holy crap! I’ve been religiously watching Chris for several years now. Best heavy machinery operator in the business, and have loved watching this project from pond to house build now, but never knew about your channel 🤷♂️ I’m disabled and bedridden so am always looking for content to help with my pain and boredom. Now I got tons of vids to go back and watch. I’m a freaking happy camper 👍😎😁

Need to use a guide rope on what your lifting with the excavator it much safer to have a rope and someone hold it to stop the item swinging around like it was just play safe as if a inspector rolls up your covered by using a rope
@BealyGood6 сағат бұрын
Yeah, as I was editing the main video I was thinking the same thing. Thanks for the feedback.

@@BealyGood thank you for the reply it is just a good idea to use a rope on things in the air to stop them spinning around it just supports the chains or slings a bit has been involved in crane and transport work most of my life have seen some very close calls of near misses of things swinging around site sheds a bad to move as long pieces of heavy steel you doing a great job and you and Chris seem to get along well yours and his videos are great and fun to watch stay safe out there and can't wait to see the final build to

So what made you decide to go with Super Floor versus ICF flooring (Build Deck or Insul Deck, etc)? Cost? Ease of install? Etc? Just curious. Thanks. Keep up the great work!
@BealyGood6 сағат бұрын
I originally was going to use insul-deck. The steel support was going to be about 50% more expensive as the weight of the insuldeck once poured is about 70lbs a ft versus 40lbs for what we’re using. But the main reason I went away from it was the required shoring.
@JayKast2 минут бұрын
Do you have any plans for adding insulation under the flooring, as you automatically wouldve had with insul deck? Ive asked the company the best way to do it and they've never replied. Just curious.

This Looks Great. My wife asked How You hang pictures on Concrete walls. I tried ti explain that the Foam stay's in place and that there are areas with plastic in the forms that can be screwed to. but, I am hoping you may Cover this in future coverage of your Build. I personally Love this ICF Idea Having pulled and installed my share of Forms for foundation and love the Idea of concrete Floors. and upper stories, having remodeled a couple office buildings. Love the Modular Idea. for ceiling and walls there are exceptions. Black water sewage etc. but Steel framing Is awesome.
