I disagree! I think Noel is always good, I've yet seen a bad interview with him. I think that when he's not interested, he just nails the interviewer with wit and sarcasm.

I got to meet him once, and asked him to sign my CD of flying birds. He was pretty rude and just snatched it off me. Sorta dissapointing seeing as Id loved him for 14 years.

@@RuptimusPrime I don't think Noel was being rude. Right, if he was, he had a good reason to be! In order to be inspired by something, you need to carry some of its essence in your work. For example, Oasis, Queen, and Pink Floyd - despite being different in style - all were inspired by Paul, John, George, and Ringo, and you can trace that influence. What influence from Oasis can you see in Maroon 5? I mean, Moron 5 (or the Five Morons) represent everything that's shallow, and to say they were influenced by Oasis is an insult to Noel's great songwriting!

@@Maxim89Il I think what you're saying is bullshit, because the bassist said he was inspired by Oasis. He didn't say the band, and specifically the band's songwriting, was inspired by Oasis. Maybe if you isolate the bassline of Oasis songs and Maroon 5 songs you'll see the similarities in their playing? Maybe listening to Oasis was what made him want to pick up bass, even though he has a different style? You can't put such a narrow definition on "being inspired by" something. Also, as a teen I was a huge Iron Maiden fan and they inspired me to learn how to play guitar. If you look at songs I write today, I doubt you'll find any sign of their influence. I don't even write anything that could even be remotely considered as Metal nowadays. That doesn't mean they didn't inspire me

Brandon Stine yes it does. Mostly bad things from social media but that’s because of the people using it not the platforms themselves. I’ve learned a lot from intelligent people on social media. It depends who you’re talking to. And it has been used for plenty of good like raising money for charity and a load of other things. I despise the stereotypical social media drama and the negativity it shouldn’t be allowed so easily but saying it has only positives or only negatives? That’s not very logical

My husband and I discussed this after the last NGHFB concert we attended (Noel blew me a kiss, lol). I wouldn't be able to meet him in person. I have heard he's usually pretty generous to his fans if they're not pushy, but his music has had such an incredibly deep impact on my life that I think it couldn't live up to meeting him. I'd be tongue-tied or blurt out something creepily inappropriate.

Noel is one of my favorite people in the world. Seeing another fan (whose work I love) interview him in a hilarious bit . . . sublime. Jim, I'd ask the same damn question at the end there. Hilarious and delightful and you two just film yourselves talking more. Monthly, at least. It's almost as good as when he riffs with Russel Brand, if not better because Jim is a fan of his as well, rather than a good friend. Is it weird to be jealous of Jim? I think I am.

That was proof that Noel does have a sense of humor and that he couldn’t give a f***about the opinion of other people-I’m not a massive fan of his music,some of his stuff I like,but I do want him to get back to Liam as brothers again.
