Wrong, wrong wrong It's one of Noel's stories and exaggerations he's "the talent" and the rest weren't. It's Noel+Liam+super-solid rhythm section that made them what they were, not just Noel. For example Bonehead was talented, he played guitar as well and was in bands when Noel was still a roadie. I give you Noel grew to be a major songwriter for a band immensely fast which shows impressive amount of determination, was able to wrote whole bunch of legendary pop/rock songs in DM/WTSMG era albums and singles, and hence burning out of ideas and originality quite fast (Still alright don't get me wrong, it's not so easy, writing a catchy tune) But still, it's just completely witless to say there weren't talent and musicality in the band besides him, except Guigs maybe who was more a football/stoner kind of lad hangin about.

He is talented and a LOT of us enjoy his stories and his music. I'm grateful to have experienced his music throughout my life. His music has always made me feel alive, not alone, or clever, when I've been down. These people know nothing about good rock n roll music. The lyrics are what I love, most of the time. Particularly with some more recent High Flying Birds tunes. His abilities are progressing and more refined.
