Opie & Anthony, with Patrice O’Neal, Dr. Victoria Zdrok and T.J. Miller in studio. Lilly and East Side Dave, of The Ron & Fez Show, also appear later in the show. Click "Show More" for the full description.
Dr. Z stops by to promote her book, “Dr. Z on Scoring,” which leads to one of my favorite debates ever on O&A. This segment is great for several reasons. For one, Patrice not only gets to clearly explain a majority of the principles behind his unique philosophy, but he also gets to debate them with a “colleague.” Some of the principles and topics he discusses in this segment include cutting out the editing system within men, the nature of men and women, what we value & how we qualify our value, hoping vs. developing and applying skills, our evolutionary objectives, The Trickle Down Theory, directing your own movie, understanding the animal we are, the fishing analogy, shark analogies, not negotiating, conditioning, the 1-30 Scale, etc.
Another reason I love this segment is because of the dynamic in the room. As annoying as T.J. was, his presence throughout this debate was important and similar to the role every female co-host served on The Black Phillip Show. He was being typical. It’s good to have someone in the room who can prove your point by just being themselves. T.J. tried the typical approaches most men have and it was ineffective. Dr. Z dismissed all of his advances, and at times even ignored him and spoke over him. She had little to no respect for him or anything he had to say. Patrice’s approach, on the other hand, intrigued her. By challenging her, he was able to tap into something she wasn’t accustomed to and it kept her engaged and interested in what he had to say.
It’s also worth noting that with razor sharp quickness, Patrice was also able to read the room, which allowed him to do 2 things:
(1) He recognized and stopped T.J. from turning on Patrice and trying to “white knight” the situation, which Patrice probably could have handled, but was unnecessary and wouldn’t have been beneficial for T.J. anyway.
(2) When Patrice realized Opie was becoming too much of a distraction for this segment to develop into anything that actually had any substance, he decided to implement the WarGames tactic, and it worked.
While this may seem insignificant, it’s very useful if you find yourself in a room full of T.J.s and Opies. By calling out T.J. on what he was about to do and explaining it to everyone before he did it, it completely shut down T.J. from CBing. By using the WarGames tactic on Opie, it bought him enough time to keep beating her in the head with logic.
When T.J. realizes Patrice’s approach is working, he tries to throw a few jabs at Dr. Z, and not only is it too late, but T.J. lacks the charm and wit Patrice possesses to do it smoothly and he’s not doing it righteously so he continues to rub her the wrong way and she continues to dismiss him. When T.J. finally gives up on Dr. Z and tries to push up on Lilly, Lilly’s response further proves Patrice’s point about the things men and women value.
Overall, this may be the best representation of Patrice’s philosophy. Without giving too much away, it’s also a great listen as Patrice shows how logic trumps everything, while Dr. Z proves she’s a trooper who’s up for any challenge.

I guarantee that Opie's mysterious absent wife is never involved or mentioned because she cuts his bullshit off instantly. Didn't listen to the show or enjoy it in any way, never hung out with any of the gang. She most likely rolled her eyes and walked away whenever Opie started acting like this, and he figured out his wife would bury him if he pushed his luck. Patrice went scorched-earth on Dr. Z and triumphed. Opie insists on barging in every other minute with "HOW DO YOU GET THE BUTTHOLE?" It really makes Opie seem like he's bedded maybe three women in his life. Tops.

@ralx225b
@ralx225b 6 жыл бұрын
Sigh I will help you out here. When Patrice mentioned that good credit matters to a women he is making the argument that women go after men for what they can do for them, whereas men only go after women because they have a vagina. When Dr. Z says she doesn't care if a guy has good credit she is making the argument that she is somehow different and doesn't select men based on what they can do for her. By admitting that she married a man to get a green card she admits to doing what women do, which is select men based on what they can do for them. The crux of Patrice's issue with women is that women do not have to work to attract men, just by having a vagina they will attract almost any man. But men have to learn the art of seduction to actually seduce a women into giving him what he wants which is her vagina. As a result women do not learn the skills that a man has to learn and in his opinion this is what makes men better because they have more social skills. This is why when a women gets in her 40's or older she cannot compete against a man in his 40's for partners if he has mastered the art of seduction.

All the deer they have hunted were actually just collateral damage on the way to attain that one deer. He failed to ask that deers best friend on how best to get that one 😆 better yet...learn deer and speak deer and just figure it out between you and that specific deer, straight from the deers mouth 😅. It really does take effort to know one's self. In the past I assumed that I knew myself but as years went on I realize that I didn't and started to learn what my Tendencies, likes and dislikes were. It's not a natural thing for someone to automatically know themselves. In this context is important that women understand that they need to get to know themselves. Doing this requires time, effort and maturity.

In the beginning of the interview, she argues against the idea that men only want to get laid, claiming that they are the ones who fall in love faster and who are the most affected by a breakup. 46:58 This proves Patrice's point completely. Women are looking for something more than looks "We're less shallow" she says. No, you're looking for someone who isnt shallow. It's the women who have the luxury of being as shallow as they want in this sexual game and MEN who have to find some depth and sophistication in order to get laid. Women are the shallow ones, that's why they want men with depth. So that HE can elevate her from the shallow place she was in. Its nature. The queen is elevated by finding a king who can raise her up. The king is the great one. He picks a woman and graciously gives her some guidance and depth for her life.

She lost completely. Everything Patrice said came true. She ended up divorcing her husband after she got done with him (claiming she only married him for a green card.) To this day she's still single. She even got naked at the end as that's what her entire existence amounts to (which is also what Patrice said.) When I first heard this audio years ago I was turned off by her. It's clear she is just manipulating simps to make money which is why she won't write a book calling out women. All you have to do is think logically, what does a hot chick know about relationships or dating? Answer is nothing. They literally don't have to do anything to get into or maintain relationships.

@@neskii7005 HA ha... no such thing! In nature it's always the male that has to earn the female and prove himself! I don't know where you read this pseudo-science gobblygook about leaders and followers mate but In the s**ual imperative, males FIGHT for females, pursue them and win them over! Hence the alphas are the winners! Men fight for women with OTHER men, not with women! Men have to prove their worth and commitment because women's investment in terms of biology is far greater than men's. Thus women have more to lose. Haven't you leaned anything in your life? Do u really think women have to fight for men? It's like saying chickens have to fight for the foxes... lol. Men always want what women have to offer! They never say no! But who ends up holding the baby? Use ur brain, not your ego..! Women chose quality over quantity and they need to know the guy is worth their while! They need to see that he is committed and loves them! Chasing a man is a losers game for women! Never in history has this been a norm! And Never it will be! A quality woman will be pursued by many suitors! She picks the best one! She don't need to chase... only hookers do, cos they chase payments.. lol.

@@neskii7005 Women don't follow men! Men follow and lead other men. Women have their own path. It has nothing to do with a men's trajectory. Men fight over women with other men. Hence leaders and followers. It's the leader that gets the girl! Females choose the man who commits and is most promising as a life partner. No woman wants a flash in the pan peacock , but a dependable trustworthy and committed loving partner. For that, a man has to prove himself. If a woman gives a man what he wants without compunction he will just take what he wants and move on! What's to stop him? It will be going against instinct and nature not to mention NATURAL SELECTION to do that. Men don't want women to choose and fight over them .. Men go after the girl they want! When they find her, they will do ANYTHING for her. It's just the way it is. Don't try to reinvent the wheel...

Ok, first of all, you guys are correct about Opie. Guy's a dunce. Almost everyone in the O&A fandom hates him. No one ever listened to the Opie & Anthony Show for Opie - we listened for Anthony and Jim Norton + everyone else they had on as guests. Second of all, if you guys think Anthony Cumia is unfunny but you love Patrice, you've either never listened to him properly or you're insane. It literally makes zero sense to find one funny but not the other. Even Patrice O'Neal said Anthony Cumia was the funniest person he'd ever met, and their senses of humor together were like magic. Third, to you morons saying they're "beta cucks" and "pussies", let me explain something that should've been obvious: Anthony is pretending to be on this dumb bitch's side so she stays in the studio and Patrice can continue to slaughter her. It's what they do to all the guest's they ridicule, it's called good cop/bad cop. I can't believe how many of you didn't clock this. You actually thought they were being sincere when they were defending her idiocy? I'll say again though, yes, Opie is a cunt. Nearly ruined this whole bit with his inane outbursts.
