I felt the same, she held her own. Especially when she rebounded herself after using the "my mom just died" with a counter joke "she really didn't love me that much". That situation has to be difficult to process and fire back with mental bullets at 4 people going all out on her.

I think Andrew Schultz' idea of a podcast is to have a monologue while a guest is present. It even shows when he's a guest on other podcasts. It seems that Whitney went into that podcast expecting a conversation, not to be told to shut up so he could go on his rants.

@@WhoDat1829 No Andrew was definitely mad as fuck for some reason, and Whitney definitely didn't enjoy it one bit. They're people just like the rest of us, and they get sensitive just as easily as anyone else. They're just much better at hiding their true feelings through humor. Anybody that's ever gotten to peak behind the scenes in any form of entertainment will tell you that the drama backstage is absolutely insane. Podcasts just happen to allow us to see glimpses of it occassionally because they can't keep the act up forever when they're constantly talking unscripted every week.

@@den.james1 Actually she was extremely professional in this situation and made A LOT of good points that dude wouldn't answer to whatsoever. And regardless of whether her comedy is good or bad, what's the point of interviewing someone pretending to be friendly when you're all just going to gang up? At which point, the interviewee has every right to pull out all the guns in defense (which she did very well). Dude earned every bit of talk he got back and she kept it cool the entire time. Something 99.999% of the population cannot do.

Yeah gained respect for her honestly. Andrew wouldn’t dare do this to anyone he views as above him comedically or even with a stronger audience than his. He is definitely not on adderall. You don’t experience that much of an aggressive high then have a mellow and depressing low within an hour on adderall. You can take adderall in the morning and it can keep you up at night 12 hours later and still feel its effects. The next day is when the low comes. That level of dopamine/energetic swing is 100% coke.

That's how I felt about Akaash. I watched his special and thought it was great but when I saw him as a guest in the podcast circuit I realized how much of an annoying self-important dork he is.
