There are collectors.. including museums that take things out of their og packaging and build the things..and still keep the package in good condition..as long as you are careful opening it..I don't see the issue..I'm a collector..and I have opened a few items..kept the package and sold it to someone who was looking for just the box to go with his open collection..it's odd..but it worked out
