I would love a Chuck movie … except that Spy Kids came out and kinda could be Sarah’s and Chuck kids, right? Yet, I love to see Awesome and Ellie’s kids enter act with cousins and the full Chuck cast.

He get paid to play immature version of himself? Why he have to act immature when Asher Angel is more mature than him? If he just acted like his adult charming self, he would've been the perfect Shazam.

Because shazam is a 14 year old kid. Teens aren't mature, so it makes no sense to play him as an adult.

i think part of the role is that Billy is more mature than Shazam because as Billy, he has a lot of sadness and disappointment in the first movie, looking for his mom, bouncing around the foster system, trying not to get attached to this new family he found... but as Shazam, he is free from all that and can be more immature and play with the powers and be more fun. In the second movie, Billy is worried about aging out and losing his family...as Shazam he is trying to keep his super family together but he has had some bad experiences and is worried he is failing them and it messes with his confidence.

I would suggest reading the comics. He and Asher both play their respective roles perfectly

Easy, this coming from a fan of shazam for 40 years, it's all because our behaviour tends to change in different context with different people 😉
