He wanted to be a hero, after his universe was destroyed, but they sent him into paradise and anyone cared about him. When He tried to save his universe And his family, Superman And other Heroes tried to stop him. And in the speed Force zone He Went totally insane. He wanted to be a hero, but He lost everything and his hero turned against him.

Superboy prime being resistant to red sun energy is not a retcon. It is an expansion. Supermen who are not Superboy prime are immediately depowered by red sun radiation, much like in the presence of green kryptonite. Superboy prime is limited only by the original idea of how Superman is depowered by the red sun, he is a battery who has powers that are just not being replaced. Red sun and exposure to green kryptonite have somehow become the same thing... but not to Superboy Prime.

What if Mr.Oz is not Ozymandias but Superboy-Prime? -He's OP Powerful like the Silver-Age Superman who was borderline God. He captured Doomsday, Mxyzptlk and Prophecy, making him a force to recon with. -He seems to have a very intimate knowledge of Superman's history, as if he was a Superman? Apparently being an unknown influence on New52 Superman's life. -Watchmen is a comic on Earth-Prime where he's from. You would think he'd have knowledge of Dr. Manhattan. -If we are to examine the Main Superman Reborn Covers: Superman & Family, Fake Clark, Superman Red/Blue and Mr.Oz?!? Superman is the constant of those covers and Oz is the odd man out? I know it seems like a stretch but what little we know kinda fits my theory. What do you think?

In Crisis on Infinite Earths DC wanted to include every superhero, supervillan and character that had existed up to 1985. They knew fans would notice if there was no Superboy. There, DC had a problem how could they have the same person as a boy and as a man (it had been done in DC Presents) but Kal-el as a boy would cause more issues than it solved. Earth-Prime had no Superheroes so Earth-Prime was brought in line with every other pre-crisis Earth which had a version of Superman and Superboy-Prime was created. 1985 was the 50th anniversary of DC comics but 1985 was also the 40th anniversary of creation of Superboy (1945).
