One question : we know about the origins of the Infinity Stones but who created the Infinity Gauntlet? Is it Thanos, the Living Tribunal? And now a more existential question ... why Galactus never been properly introduced in the MCU before the Infinity War movies. I think showing the famous scene in the comics with Thanos singlehandedly stopping Galactus and the other Celestials would have been a really good scene to display how powerful Thanos is with all the Infinity Stones. A missed opportunity i'd say.

I'm an old comic book collector, started in the late 80s and collected all the way up to August 29, 2005 when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and wiped away my entire collection. Included in that collection was the Infinity Gauntlet and Infinity War storylines. The one who had the power gem in Warlock and the Infinity Watch was Drax the Destroyer who wasn't as smart at the time (kind of like a Silver Age Hulk on a galactic scale) and swallowed it because he thought it was a jelly bean (to which Adam Warlock told the group that it was one of the safest places for the gem since Drax's digestive system wasn't like us Earthlings). Man, I miss my comics..... Anyway, you do a great job of explaining comics and I direct folks to your page to get good explanations of comic book stuff in general. Keep up the great work!

I liked those Silver Surfer comics. Finally someone mentioned them. They always talk about the gauntlet books but not the silver surfer.

Adam: Soul, Gamora: Time, Moondragon: Mind, Pip: Space, Thanos: Reality, and Drax: Power. Thanos was entrusted to guard the Reality Gem because he knew that you can’t use it by itself. You need the others to ground it to this reality. Plus, nobody’s gonna really go after Thanos.

I had the Infinity Gauntlet for a few months. Picked it up from this guy named Adam. It didn't have any of the stones. Had to let it go in a garage sale during a move. Came in handy when holding a beer. Your hand doesn't get cold and your beer doesn't get warm.

When I was a young man, I really liked the early 90's marvel stories that showed the large multi-paged battle scenes between a hundred different characters. Nobody shows those scenes when talking about these stories. I had most of all the different "wars" comics marvel put out because of it. Also, spiderman and nightstalker were beginning to bore me.

This is a better format, swapping between yourself and the comics. If you're serious about this route, consider a "set wall", basically a back drop of cool comic stuff in focus, unlike you're out of focus living room.
