The artistic quality of the Beetle Bailey comics is truly quite underrated! It's so incredible to watch how much care is put into every single line. Beautiful documentary. RIP Mort Walker.

"The scratch of the pen on the paper....the sound of cartooning to me." Love it! It's very hard (unless you're an artistic genius) to make the kind of round shapes he's talking about, with those scratchy dip-pens. So I was amused to see that the way Greg does it, is to almost constantly rotate the paper.

Mort Walker had his time with his 3 sons who helping out with Beetle Bailey as the big brother back then was funny and cool to had and time when Mort walker workings with it back then too, as for it now ,as for his others sons is sill doing it now,

the walkers own art officers is cool and it is like a pack rats room and seeing beetle bailey is be a big helping out now , seeing others stuff too,

Mort Walker started at Missouri University
