That was actually really touching. I like seeing Deadpool being brought out of his comfort zone and actually having to deal with "real," non-comedic situations.

You would think that someone like deadpool would run away from the responsibility or just straight up deny that he has a child, but deadpool seemingly embraces this discovery and actually wants to try, contrary to how he portays himself. I doubt that he would be the strict disciplinarian parent, but he,d definitely be known as the fun dad.

I love the, "But always keep a knife in your shoe. For good luck!" Because you never know if he's doing the whole, Father gives daughter pepper spray routine. Or, if he actually believes it carries some supernatural power of luck. Being that it helped him out of a few situations so therefore it's like a rabbit's foot but even better since it's useful.

In a way Elle is part wolverine but without claws and without the rage the perfect weapon-x subject she can blend into the crowd, unlike Deadpool has better healing then wolverine because no metal bones , but her mutant gene hasn't kicked in yet.

A lot of things in comics in the past decade has turned me a way from comics just because of their whole wokeness malarkey. But I do have to say that giving Deadpool a daughter is one of the best things Marvel could have done in recent years. It reminds me of why I fell in love with comics. It shows that there are still glimmers of hope out there.

Wonder if they will introduce Elle's character into the Deadpool movies? Wasnt clear at the end of DP2 if the whole time travel thing was canon, but adding Elle would give Deadpool a very strong reason to fight and someone to protect in his own crazy way.
