I don’t understand how Disney can’t continue with what they have planned for Kang dynasty. If any character can be recast with little to no questions asked it would be Kang.

It's because they don't have a plan. Just look at all of Phase 4. It's all over the place. Black Widow and Captain Falcon and the Winter Soldier were supposed to be like spy movies. One could argue Wakanda Forever might fit in there. But then you also have stuff like The Marvels, Thor Love and Thunder, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, which are cosmic. However, Doctor Strange and Shang Chi are with the mystics though Doctor Strange also covers the multiverse with Loki.

The Multiverse Saga had so much potential if they just focused and followed the great storyline in the comics. At least we have the comics themselves, so it's not all bad

That’s Disney’s BIGGEST flaw its honesty self destructive especially and this point look at Star Wars for example there is liter so MUCH script worthy books out there they could of pulled from but because Disney want to be Disney and Kathleen Kennedy being a “I am women hear me roar” type of female they discarded all that good shit and made it into legends and they decided to write their own scrip and story and absolutely ruined it I used to be a hard core fan now I don’t even want to look at the new stuff it hurts to much only thing I pay attention to is the games the fallen series is HEAT but this new shit I can’t it breaks my heart to see what they did smh

Could you cover the Kang: Only Myself Left To Conquer miniseries? In my opinion, it's the best Kang storyline ever written. It's an incredible and bitter retelling of his origin story in which we see that his entire life was really a war against a future version of himself he vowed never to become until he eventually found himself miserable, alone, and utterly powerless to save the love of his life, ultimately starting the cycle again with his young self. Like, Kang doesn't often get good stories because writers are too busy trying to be clever that they forget to write something good, but that storyline is maybe the only kang storyline that perfectly balances the two, making one of the most perfect self contained time loop stories I've ever read in addition to having amazing characters, paying homage to the history of a character who has found himself through so much of Marvel's timeline, and just being such a fun read. Kang Dynasty is probably my third place kang storyline, but the gap between my second place (timeless 2021) and OMLTC is WIDE, it's not close.

Without Johnathan Majors Kang it really doesn't matter as he's become Kang in Loki season 1 unlike Terrance Howard who we wondered what's next and got a new Rhodes and we're still waiting to learn about him this many years later and why Black Panther wasn't recast Kang might just be a bigger victim than Ms marvel first movie being hated

You know ant’s are actually op, they literally do what they did, except when they all clamp down, they rip the limbs off their prey, which can include things 10x their size, even wolf spiders and praying mantis don’t wanna meet an ant board looking for food, they are the nematodes of the land, and their colonies can number in the billions. Sorry I been watching too much Kurtsgesat 😂

In his first appearance in the comics after trapping the Avengers, Kang got fooled and defeated by Rick Jones and the Teen Brigade which is way worse than by giant ants xD

This is the one I've been waiting for ❤❤ marvel certainly has a lot of work to recover the mcu narrative, not including the real-world problems. This reading is likely the best version of kang dynasty we'll get, even if they somehow pull it off. Thank you comicstorian for the sheer magnitude of effort you and the crew put into these videos! The actor for Kang got charged with battery, then fired from Marvel. There’s a chance that Kang will be recast but there’s also rumours circulating that the actor had it in his contract that he would play all versions of Kang (Kang being a multiverse villain) which legally complicated this. That’s also backed by the fact that there’s been no news of a recast, it took marvel ages to actually fire the actor after some very damming evidence and there are rumours that marvel plan on pivoting away from Kang. Tl;dr the real villain of post endgame marvel is not respecting women ✊

Silly to put, Good Version, when the film isn't even out yet. Also, the one change that will happen, is Colman Domingo replacing Majors. Its not confirmed yet, but that actor knows how to play villains. His most recent work is "Mister" in The Color Purple musical. He also voiced Unicron in Transformers Rise Of The Beasts.

Rehire Jonathan Majors! He carried the multiverse saga on his shoulders and he’s dropped because he accidentally hurt a finger while defending himself and his property. His ex gf even testified that she was the aggressor and NOT him. Let’s help stop the spreading of misinformation and raise awareness, let’s push marvel and Disney to rehire Majors. A once in a generational talent like Jonathan Majors deserves much better

If the MCU ended oost Endgame i would have been happy with the conclusion we got. The multiverse saga has been absolute ass. Other than NWH and Vol 3 (which has nothing to do with the multiverse) everything Marvel has put out has been abysmal.

Also you could make the argument that No Way Home was more like a "What if"-style crossover event than an actual MCU movie. If we include the shows I think Loki and Wandavision held up. Not flawless, but nothing in the MCU ever was.

ok I don't think this specific version of kang Dynasty would've worked in the MCU. Too many obscure characters and too much side tracking with other villains. 90s marvel went in some weird directions. Infinity war and endgame differed greatly from the infinity gauntlet comics.

I do not understand this obsession with keeping the same person as a character. It’s nice but not necessary for the story. The characters and the story should be the main focus not who plays them. They should let a great story be the star!

Not really _irrelevant_ as the first sentence of the video is about how the Kang Dynasty movie will be different if it comes out at all, and the domestic abuse conviction is the cause for that.
