I thought I could come out in person to my dad and maybe he’d argue or something but it would be okay. Long story short, I no longer have a dad around, but I do have PTSD. I’m bisexual. 14 (when I posted this comment) but my mum is also bisexual and my brother is gay. I have found out my best friend is also bisexual and the rest of my friends are fine with it! Remember don’t be ashamed of yourself if you are gay/bi. You are you.

I came out to my parents in June and they still don’t accept me for my pronouns or sexuality because they think I’m too young to know my sexuality and I’ll only be a girl. I came out as non-binary and used They/Them then but now I use He/They. They don’t believe in Trans identity/identification. But I’m still happy they love me for who I will end up being… Edit (I forgot to add this in): no matter what just know there’s a HUGE community that supports you! Edit 2: you don’t need your parents to accept you for you to feel valid! You are valid no matter your gender or sexuality! (MAPs are uhhh 😬 no-)

I'm a boy, i love makeup, and find some boys attractive, i think im gay but I'm never going to come out to my parents because they think it's a sin and my dad said if any of you were ever gay, i would kick you out, he literally screams at me and scares me that he is going to throw me out of the house if i play any type of game

I came out to my mum and thought that she would accept me, she told me that gay and bisexual people don’t exist and I should think deeply about what I wanted to do and who I wanted to be in my life. Seeing as she is the “nice” parent, I think I’m screwed, it just made me so nervous about the whole thing, I hope one day I have to confidence to come out to my homophobic parents

This is horrifies me Kerr :(, it horrifies me in so many ways he did that. Even after going back to those who disowned me (its a long story, unrelated to coming out) they not only hypocritically didnt care, there was no love in response when i accidentally came out to them. I was all the more ignored by them and most peers since doing this with others. I am so sorry for ya xxx
