Extremely informative. I've been studying these cases recently; then a friend of mine who's a psychologist told me about play therapy. I loved watching the scenes during the therapy, as well as your description about his behavior and the therapist comments on her procedures.

I really enjoyed the video and learning about play therapy. I have 2 children on the spectrum. My youngest presented very differently (milder) from my oldest and seems very similar to your Luka (not sure how to spell it but it's a lovely name!). It took longer to recognize autism in my youngest as I kept thinking certain behaviours/anxieties being displayed had to do with her older brother being on the spectrum. I chalked it up to the extra stress it placed on our family, to being a cry for attention, or learned behaviour etc. Now I know autism is spectrum and that children who are verbal and who do not have learning disabilities can also be autistic.

Just found your videos and gained a lot of great insight. My daughter and she has been very expressive in what she wants to do far as doing specific tasks, or hearing specific music. She's currently in ABA but play therapy maybe something my wife and I look into next, thank you for bringing them to my attention.

I saw an amazing therapist as a child (dealing with extreme trauma, seeing my father being brutally violent and abusive and well, without way tldr, he killed my sibling in front of me. ) but the play therapy actually comforted me. I love seeing parents who are involved and care and put importance onto their families mental/emotional health as well as physical. good job. I just love his hair so much tho.

My son just started play therapy about a month ago. He is 7 and he also has a food aversion. While we’re not in play therapy for food aversion specifically, I have noticed very positive things come out of this. He’s started to eat two things that he never has eaten before and we found that he likes to help cook it. He has about 5 foods that he will eat since age 3. No healthy stuff like fruits or veggies. He has one meat, chicken that he will SOMETIMES eat. No pizza no hotdogs no spaghetti. He had two bites of a burger for first time a couple months back and hasn’t touched it since. Its quite challenging at birthday bc he doesnt eat cake or ice cream! It’s so worrisome as a parent. So to have him eating one new food regularly, grill cheese sandwich, and trying eggs. Is pretty amazing. So I believe it’s helping. And he really enjoys going to therapy and playing doing art etc. I’m excited to see how it benefits your son😀😀

My son is eating bread with tea since forever, he has stopped eating fuits which he previously used to eat, it has really effected his health, he becomes I'll more often, usually tonsillitis, needing frequent antibiotics. I don't know how to break this circle of bad eating n poor health. I feel v frustrated.

Very nice video. While going through the same journey for about 22 years, I found things much relevant for the parents of recently diagnosed children on spectrum. I am also up to do this service for the humanity, not finding myself much expert on this that is delaying cause. I have liked/subscribed your channel as part of same cause. Stay blessed.

Loving your videos, I’m expecting my second a little girl in a few weeks and I was just wondering if you have ever done a video on how to deal with having a baby after having a child with development delays/autism ? I find myself becoming very anxious and worried I won’t enjoy her as I will just be looking out for the “signs” we saw with my son . Would love to know how you delt and any tips

Jesus, is it always Autism? I had selective mutism as a child, then social anxiety, but haven't been diagnosed with Autism. I wonder if these kids also have just selective mutism? Jesus you might as well put me on the spectrum as well.
