Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a real-time strategy video game which was released for Microsoft Windows on October 25, 2000 as the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert [1996]. Set in 1972 you play either side of a new Allied/Soviet war when the real villian is an evil master of mind control.

I dunno about that. RA3 might not be balanced, but it is fun and beautiful. And its got that EA logo. It seems that people have forgotten that EA used to be the golden standard of video games. C&C Generals, Tiberium Wars + Kane's Wrath, Early Need for Speed, Titanfall 2, Dead Space Series, SimCity, Sim series, Medal of Honour series. AMONG THE FEW BTW. List still longer than that.

Back in the day, this was hella fire!! That intro and graphics were AAA+. The "Hell March" intro never dissapoints.

Yes, Great actor his name is Rick Cramer I just saw him in a comedy movie called Rat Race which came out in 2001 a year after Red Alert 2 was released

This has always bugged me... If you're facing a horde of soviet tanks crossing from Mexico into Texas, wouldn't the sign in front of you say "Welcome to Mexico"?

They are crossing from Texas into the rest of the US. It's been years, but I remember wondering this, and I think I noticed that on the first/second US mission, Texas is red on the pre-mission briefing world map.

Twenty three years later and I'm still hooked on this game.I still kind of suck at this game.It's repayable and deserves dare I say it a Netflix series.Or not because it has a occult following.I remember playing this on the family pc along with the Sims 1 and 2.These type of games need to make a come back in 2023.Strategy games still have a place in my eyes.I also remember getting my older child hood best friend into this game or maybe it was his older brother.If only I could put down certain games as job history jk.I never get sick of the sound track.

I am pretty sure the remaster packed with Tiberian sun and its expansions would sell very well just like RA1 and TD did. In EA Red alert 3 most of the budget went into women's cleavage and too much into a cartoon look.

The struggle between west and east is just genuine in this game, Romanov doesnt want Russia falling into capitalist hands, imagine having your country occupied by Allied forces, so he can't drift Soviet people to go into comfort zone, he needs to make sure that communists wont share the same fruits of capitalism and consumerism ;) :D
