I’d say it’s more that the prof “allowed it” as in, he didn’t mention if it was nice or brutal. Foreshadowing would have been if he said: “I’ll allow it but don’t come crying to me afterwards” but still then it’s not really foreshadowing but more a threat

@@kevinjooss9348 In all fairness, if people do not target Feather immediately and constantly, she will get out of hand the very instant you find a targeting cantrip. It's the main reason I don't really use my own Feather deck anymore. Either my opponents don't realize this or don't have the proper interaction in hand to deal with her, and it turns into a non-game for all of them, or they DO take out Feather at every opportunity and I spend every other turn just re-casting her and it turns into a non-game for me.

@@Dark-Pikachu1 That deck has 9 targeting 1-2 mana spells that draw a card, and some more that scry. If Kyle had been a tiny bit luckier and had access to any of those drawing spells at first, he would have drawn so many cards and probably very quickly found one or more of the various protection spells (he did have Dawn Charm and Gods Willing already), making Feather practically impossible to deal with. He didn't even really go off and you can already see all the times he protected Feather from Voxy. It sucks that he didn't get a chance to let the deck do its thing for a turn cycle or two, but if he did, the game would've ended a lot sooner and more decisively. It was very smart of the table to focus Feather, and it still just barely worked as you can see that Expedite coming in just a little too late.

I really didn't like this part at all. I know a lot of people were laughing like crazy, I just felt pitty for Kyle and was a little shocked how mean the prof can be. But I guess I am in the minority and the "unfun" guy here. Sigh

I don't understand this confusion here. Feather is an answer it or lose the game commander. Resilient as hell, easy draw, and it's in boros, the pairing that probably has the most Battle Tricks and ways to copy them amongst your creatures. I'd rather fight an entire Nekusar Burn deck than just a cracked Feather opening hand. Plus, he didn't account for someone having a response and removing Feather from the board anyways. His own b, ngl.

​@vileluca My Feather runs almost every card that says whenever you cast a spell, damage your opponents. Feather runs better as a slightly more aggressive spell slinger.

to be fair one of his first introductions on game knights revealed that he has broken deals in that gaming group before as well so. he's ALWAYS been on a villian arc. he's just a likeable villian. like handsome jack. or loki. xD
