Banned commanders(not silver border), 60 card decks, plainshift, each person gets a conspiracy, silver border rares/mythic cards are allowed, and each player gets a legendary sorcery, enchantment, or artefact in the command zone. Just to see how random you can make a game of commander and how many things you can do to change it. And I can't afford to buy a deck but thanks for always posting the lists

First off, Stephen Green, thank you for playing my deck and pronouncing my name right! (Note: I have not watched the video in full so if my deck did not perform well, I am sorry). Second, it was awesome to meet you guys over the weekend of SCG Winter Con. I actually did show up on Sunday even though it snowed, but sadly it was cancelled. I still need to play Jeremy and Jonathan to see where they can sign my playmat. So far Justin is the one wearing the only crown. Steven did put up a valiant effort though.

Yes! Another deck that uses the wonderful fractured phage combo. Mine is Kydele + tymna. Works pretty well. Glad your atraxa deck had an awesome win con :)

Per the Xantcha gatherer rules, when the controlling player dies, you don't have to recast her. Xantcha comes back under the owner's control.

In a multiplayer game, if a player leaves the game, all cards that player owns leave as well. If the player under whose control Xantcha entered the battlefield leaves the game, the effect changing control of Xantcha ends. Because Xantcha’s replacement effect creates a continuous effect causing another player to control it, Xantcha isn’t exiled.

Good game guys :) I'm just glad I was ablr to play against Justin's kresh vs my 4 color zombie tokens and I was able to play Jeremy with my Xantcha deck. I wanted to catch Steven and John on Sunday :( But maybe next year. Either way it was fun!

I'm sorry guys, my car payments are way too behind right now for me to be traveling anywhere besides to work in Puyallup Washington. Otherwise I DEFINITELY WANTED TO and WOULD HAVE gone to see you all play some live commander. Please accept my sincerest apologies, I tried to find a way there but as much as I crunched the numbers I came up about $400 short of the plane tickets. Can't sacrifice it if you have assault suit on it. Otherwise you surely do have that option.

Don’t. I don’t have a copy of the deck myself, but I understand it’s probably *the* best pre-constructed Commander deck. There’s not much that *needs* to be changed for it to work.

If you would be so kind as to explain the Dwye NON, Dwye-Non, DWYE-NON reference it would be most appreciated. It is not how my play group is used to hearing the pronunciation of Deynen, especially since Nen doesn't equal NON, and we don't watch all of the same shows that Justin watches.

Nah because it entered under his control it gets exiled when he dies. If it entered and later changed controllers it would revert to John

No I'm pretty sure all permanents 'controlled' by an opponent that dies are exiled.

@@urawhat no if a permanent you own is controlled via an opponent, they return to there owners when they die. There is a worldgorger combo with xantcha that kill all opponents this way

So the way to think about urawhat is anything that came onto the battlefield under your opponents control is exiled, while anything they took from your side of the field is returned. So effects like bribery or anything similar will be exiled while any "gain control" cards are given back.

When a player that controls but doesn't own Xantcha dies, does Xantcha not revert to her owner's control? Pretty sure Jon should have had Xantcha under his control after he killed Justin.

No, when a player would leave the game, permanent that player controls are exiled.

Oath of druids into leveler is pretty good. Oath happens at upkeep, you move to draw step and lose the game.
