Here's some tips on how I got started on getting clients for commissions as a small artist! I used to have an art account on Twitter that didn't even reach 1000 followers but I still got commission orders from multiple clients!

Kira is a peach who was turned into a virtual human by a magical fairy godmother. After becoming a real girl (a 3D model is as real as it gets), her fairy grandmother forces her to journey to the capital to help renovate the cottage and pay bills by working on Live2D, streaming, and a bunch of other stuff. Thank you so much for the tips! I am a small artist with no following and tips will go a long way for me! I find that reaching out to an audience that is willing on engaging with your work and support you is important, speaking as someone and many other artists who have been ghosted from people. I also agree that being transparent about your work process is important for getting potential clients. I have talked with people over social media who don't always understand the etiquette of being a client of an artist (etc. sometimes they just ask for free art) When it comes that that, you have to be professional, refer to your clients to your terms of services. And most importantly, be willing not to do business when you will you are not getting anything in return/ being unfairly treated. But for inspiring artists, don't give up! Your audience is there, it's just a matter of reaching out to them. Good luck to everyone!

Great and fun review, also really nice insight for people who need help setting up their commissions! I feel you so much on the pressure levels :D Just last week I switched from my old Wacom Bamboo to a Gaomon M10K Pro and phew, it's a whole new world

Thank you for the tips! Me myself, I had fairly good commission experiences. Very kind and patient clients that pretty much were very understanding if I were to take longer on their piece as promised (ofc I would keep them updated always). I am planning to open commissions again soon but I am a bit scared since it has been a very long time and I have made my prices higher ; v ;

Great video. I love the advice...especially, about making a guideline sheet. Yes, you are right about getting commissions with a small following because I get commissions from time to time with having less than 400 followers on Instagram. I need to make a guideline sheet as though, so that my clients will have a clear understanding of my process. I will start on that as soon as possible. Thanks again love your videos.

Thanks for sharing your terms of service! It will come in handy as a reference! Let's say a client broke the terms of service, how should one approach that situation? I'm sure legal action is out of the window so what are the other options? This is one of the things i'm worried about concerning commissioned work

I have a gaomons620, but the space was a bit too small for me and my hand would cramp so I bought an xp-pen deco pro but between the two I liked the pen sensitivity on the gaomon one much more, I feel like I have to press harder on the xp-pen and wasn't too happy with the results I would get when changing the xp pen sensitivity settings.

Hello I have a question, When I made my model today and saved it; I opened it again and It came up with a message saying that I went over the limit of 30 and that I did 39 of something (I don’t recall) but than I pressed okay and it removed all the progress I did in live 2d( which in my case I took my whole day into this not knowing the limit) if there is any way to get around this, please reply.

Her comms are quite high, and rightfully so, but if you’re willing to find other artists, there’s a lot of Live2D artists that offer cheaper models because they’re newer to the scene/not as well known. I’d recommend joining the Live2D discord server
