Absolutely stellar, never another group like them!! Growing up in Ohio a little more south of Detroit, their music was a huge impression to keep me from the streets when I got saved!

This is Commissioned at its best! i remeber these concerts-relevant, anointed! impacting, fresh! and powerful! boy are they missed-i feel sorry for the young christians today for they have -they missed out.

Praise God!! This group brought me closer to Christ!! I truly miss seeing them toghether..Anoting like no other!!!

The best Commissioned concert was in January 1990 at Brooklyn College. That place was bumping and jumping. We didn't get out til' after midnight and a curtain call. Fred said "this is the way saints party!"

My favorite gospel group of ALL TIME. I waited for every cassette tape release from the mid-80s. I was in college then. I scraped up my coins to make sure I had their latest….this music probably kept me alive during those young, crazy days!!!❤🙏🏾♥️

I am so upset that I have never been to see them but I do have every album. Awesome Gospel group and I still play their music today.. as if I am listening to them for the first time. Never get tired of hearing this music.

Me and my 33yr. old daughter was just reminiscing about when she was small and Commissioned came to Minneapolis ever July, it was like a birthday present to me, because it was always the week of. I still have some CDs, and some song in my phone. Great music and lyrics.

I was raised up on commission after hearing my brother always playing their albums in the basement I still remember so I asked God to give me all the commission CDs as well as shekinah Glory The winans and all of the anointed vessels that he has used to teach me whether in song or in teaching a mother inside mother Estella boy from Detroit Michigan Shalom Temple God used her to teach me very very well as well as a father in Zion pastor elder Kenneth or Collins from Gary Indiana prayer Tower of Gary Indiana and many many more and I cannot forget Bishop stacks and his wife mother doctor Gertrude stacks from Detroit Shalom Temple as where she has got taught bye a mother in Zion mother Estella boy from Detroit Michigan as well they have taken their flight the generals have taken their flight but I still remember because everything they have taught me is coming to pass right now in this day in this season 🙏🙏😇💕❤️❤️♂️ who God fearing.

OMG!!! Is that my brother Troy from DelaRoy...I mean Delaware? Anyway, I remember those hi-top fades, harmonies, chords, licks and songs from back-in-the-day. Commissioned was indeed ahead of their time. They will never get the recognition for influencing R&B artists, and for setting the bechmark for how to properly minister with an up-to-date sound. They were cool, they were role-models, they were the best at what they did. Btw, Troy; Michael burned you on the gee-tar. : )
