Welcome Back. I recently visited the Annual Retro Börse here in Vienna and came across this poor old C64 G. It's definitely in need of a bath, and I don't know if it even works. Still for €50 I'm happy to give it a new home. Speaking of Home, I'm working from home this month as I'm super busy with work, so I have a guest joining me on today's video. Either way, enjoy.

Looks great! I'm in the middle of cleaning up a C64C with missing keys and considering just swapping the keyboard rather than replacing keycaps. With the price of getting keycaps to me, it's probably cheaper to buy a broken 64 and pillage the keyboard!

Hey Veronica. Yeah it’s been a nice project. I’ve spent some of my downtime this week getting to know the C64. It wasn’t a machine I grew up with. I can’t wait to see yours finished. :)

to fill in that gash use super glue and baking soda, it fills in the space and after you can sand it !

I did wonder about this. I’m giving some consideration to how to approach it and hopefully blending a little paint to match the case colour. Thanks for the tip though. :)
