3 жыл бұрынAlso called Brain fever bird. it screams "brain-fever, brain-fever,........." repeated with monotonous persistency 5 or 6 times, rising in crescendo and ending abruptly. Usually sung in pairs..starting with a "reeti---reeti---reeti" sound in low volume..and then continues with "pi-peeah...pi-peeah...pi-peeah..."

I have regular visits from cuckoos in my mango tree which is just outside my bedroom. When they start singing...!!! Now I understand why Bharathy said" கத்தும்!! குயிலோசை சற்றே!!! வந்து காதில் படவேண்டும்"!!! It used to sound like in the latter half of the video.,and looks darker

In Guru Granth Sahib there are two Shabads about Cukoo Hawk. In one it describes it calling early morning at dawn which God hears.
