Why can't this nerve be uncompressed without surgery? It's like when leg falls asleep...but quickly wakes up upon standing. How can someone become disabled by crossing legs, or sitting incorrectly? It makes no sense...

I had foot drop now just really bad foot ankle and shin nerve damage I am walking much better now although the nerve damage is still there with little to no feeling of the foot my big toe came back but my little toes have not

How do they know it's compressed? I have twitching toes on my right foot and weakness because of it. A Neurologist told me I have to live with it. How do I find out if I have compression?

This freaked me out as it made me think I have ALS. It’s been 15 months with this . Now my podiatrist has me in a boot. When I’m actually in a boot , it’s starts to feel better .

What if the nerve is fine (no compression) but have no movement on your feet? and also is numbness

Will that septum grow back? Also what is it exactly? A structure that’s supposed to be there or something that only grows from injury?

hi, it's a band of fascia which separates the lateral compartment of leg.

That is a nerve decompression like carpal tunnel syndrome but only in the lower extremity.I know because I'm going to be getting that proceedger done plus 3 other areas from the knee down including my foot by Dr.Dellon the Pioneer of this .Check out his website,alot of info there.Dellon.com

jeffrey walbert omg he’s my doctor too! He already did a common peroneal nerve decompression on me just recently on June 24. I am going to be having a tibial nerve decompression with him next. He already helped me so much. His clinical immediate diagnosis felt too good to be true, because I am not used to doctors displaying his level of confidence about this. @@HeatherBelling wow how are you doing from the surgery. I'm looking at decompression in 4 areas ,peroneal nerve at the knee in the leg and dorsum ,also the tibial nerve and its branches in the tarsal tunnel.I had to get some vascular testing done to make sure I have proper blood flow in the legs and feet.I'll find out next tues.Then fight with the insurance company to get approved.I never knew anything about your nerves until this started 3 years ago. So how you doing from the surgery.Hopefully Good

I’m new to this my knees are always hyper extended , I have knee issues . I’ve had disc degeneration . I workout everyday , I have a EMG on Monday to find out what’s going on. No foot drop and I’ve had these issues for a year . Will this disable me ? I’m 41
