ULB Election 2024 Common Platform for Ward 13, Lower Chandmari, Kohima was organised by the Lower Chandmari Youth Organization in collaboration with Panchayat Lower Chandmari Colony & GB today.
K. Asangla Jamir, NDPP Candidate in her speech maintained that the colony has been divided into 6 blocks where all necessities differ from each other. She therefore assured to look into the matter accordingly with consultation of colony Panchayat and youth.
She also assured to construct a footstep in Tina block as the footstep is in a very deplorable condition.
She also highlighted her concern for drainage systems, Water scarcity problems, solar light etc.
She also assured to work with both of her opponents that whoever wins or loses will work together for the benefit and upliftment of the colony.
Thejanuo Whuorie, NPP Candidate has highlighted the need to build a Primary Health Centre by donating her land. She also assured to give vocational training and skills development in the field of electricians.
Khobonuo Lily Zaphu, Independent candidate highlighted her concern for a multi-purpose building for recreational centres and parking lots.
For empowerment of youth and women, she emphasized on the need to upon public libraries for the aspirants candidates. Also skills development training for the youth and women.
She also emphasized on the importance of focusing on Entrepreneurship where the youth can independently work and bring economic development.
Some of the highlights include; car tag for colony, geotag enrollment with proper house number tracking system, promoting cultural heritage etc.
All the three women candidates have desires to make the colony a model ward in Kohima. Whoever wins or loses, they have decided to work together for the welfare of the colony.
