Top coolant line plastic part broke off would you have a part number for black part held down by one hex screw for rubber hose to connect to it
@Redlineracinggarage Жыл бұрын
No I don’t have the part number for that you have to call the dealership for that
@OnTheRailTV2 жыл бұрын
Did you ever have to do the fuel sending unit?
@Redlineracinggarage2 жыл бұрын
No I haven’t , is that something that commonly fails too? Lol

Aluminum intake pipes will heat up much more and reduce performance by heating the air going into the engine.

How hard was that radiator to do ? Need to do mine soon
@Redlineracinggarage2 жыл бұрын
Wasn’t that hard we had to shimmy it in there. At least we didn’t have to remove the whole front end 😆

I know V8 and mercedes mean cost lot of money if you have issues, what about maintenance if I don't do anything myself?
@Redlineracinggarage2 жыл бұрын
Well I haven’t owned it long enough to know exactly how much maintenance is. But for what I know right now is that maintenance is pretty expensive. Pads and rotors are a minimum or 2K. Air suspension is expensive if it needs to be replaced.

Sell this car ASAP, you’ll have the turbo cooling lines go out, which if not addressed will take your tubros out, then there’s the engine mounts which always go out, oh and don’t forget all the oil leaks which then in return you get oil IN your wiring harness which will get you CEL codes and you’ll need to replace the whole harness and sensors affected. Point is sell it while you have the chance, to drive these cars you have to have money to throw away.
@Redlineracinggarage2 жыл бұрын
Jeez, iv never heard of that happening before. Is it really that bad? Have you owned one of these before ? Or maybe worked on one?
@kristianlucaj91302 жыл бұрын
@@Redlineracinggarage unfortunately for me i’ve owned the CLS550 4 matic currently am dealing with a coolant leak but my engine mounts went out on me few months back i just plan on listing it as soon as i fix her looking to upgrade to a CLS63s since parts are a little more easier to obtain than the 550
@Redlineracinggarage2 жыл бұрын
@@kristianlucaj9130 yeah it’s not easy to maintain everything. But the CLS 63 will pretty much be the same as maintenance wise
@kristianlucaj91302 жыл бұрын
@@Redlineracinggarage ya man and it’s really compact you have to know what you’re doing to be underneath the damn car but with my experience it was very difficult to find certain performance parts oem parts for the 550 were always backed up in my area (detroit mi) but cls63 parts are available for me easier, price it is probably about the same if not more expensive but hoping won’t be as many problems as i had not that i did but just really expensive fixes and parts

What does this have to do with common problems? Every car on the planet has a oil leak time to time smh
@Redlineracinggarage2 жыл бұрын
The common problem on the CLS 550 is the rad. The rad always leaks in the same spot
