I call the Starlings the R2D2 of the bird word

Starlings in the America's are highly invasive pests. They kill our native birds and take their nests. The population of Bluebirds, woodpeckers, chickadees and many other cavity nesting birds have decreased in my area due to Starlings. In the spring, thousands of starlings flood feeders and eat every last speck of food. Leaving none for other birds. For farmers, Starlings take over livestock barns and breed out of control. As a result they eat all the livestock's food and just waste money. It's not their fault for following their nature but they cause more harm then good. Killing just one could benefit someone or something. Edit: in Europe where they belong they benefit the ecosystem. If we could we would take every starling in America and put them back in Europe.. however we both know that's impossible

They’re invasive to the United States, they destroy crops and habitat, steal livestock feed, and are aggressive towards native birds. As much as I hate to see animals being killed, hunting them is an effective tool for keeping destructive species under control.

Same here this is a fantastic call , i setup a Bluetooth speaker and turn it up down the other end , there is always a pile of Starlings when I'm done
