This microphone is quite expensive compared to the cost of something like just buying an Earmor M32, so it would be good to compare them.

this is good if you have a bunch of walkers razors laying around like most people do. I'll check out the earmor's, there's been a need for a budget comms headset on the market and I hope they fill that role.

@@Jkp1321 I have 4 or 5 pairs of walkers razors in my closet that I have for family or friends who come out to shoot. This lets me use them with the dozens of baofeng radios I have so we can all hear eachother better. I already have the money sunk into the earpro, so why not spend a little more instead of buying all new headsets?

I bought one, the housing of the mic broke almost immediately, perhaps was not glued well or just very low quality glue; they offered a partial refund but did not want to replace the defective unit. I know this is not a mil graded product, but still I expect a 10$ product to break this easily, not a 75$ product. Would recommend to reconsider buying this if you intend to put it to even a moderately intense use, and defiantly not for any duty use where something series is at stake !

Are these the proper resistance for using with military PTT's? I know you sell your own, but I already have a bunch from disco32 and I want to make sure all of my stuff is compatible. Thanks for bringing this to market by the way, I've been needing this exact thing for years now. A much better solution than the xbox mic I have glued to my Howard leights

They're not compatible with the disco32 ptts. We're working on a converter, but for the moment the only ones I can gaurentee work are the ones we sell

Walker's already makes a walkie-talkie attachment with microphone for the razor for only $32. No need for all the wires and separate radio.

@@Nickdefdis works pretty well for us at the range and on the farm. Perhaps it's user error.

Hey there; got a troubleshooting question. I purchased the multimount mic to use with Razors, and so far it doesn't work. 😢 I have tried plugging it into TP120 PTTs on both my personal Baofeng UV5R and an AN/PRC-152 at work, and the mic and headset-out failed to perform both times. I eliminated the possibility of the problem being the Razors by plugging in a different mic adapter from Disco32 into both PTTs, and was able to hear both myself and incoming TXs in both systems. I then confirmed that it is this microphone adapter by plugging it into my helmet-mounted Sordins and testing it through the same PTTs, with negative results. Do you have any idea what the problem might be? Is this mic adapter kit wired for TP120 mil or TP120 civ (my PTTs are both mil-wired, so maybe it's a polarity issue?) Thanks!

Yes ptt is definitely the problem. These are civilian wired, meaning they don't work with any nato wired ptt. Best bet is either to get the multimount mic converter which should convert to a nato connection that's compatible or get a multimount mic ptt specifically made for these mics

They are extremly expensive, if you were to make them cheaper I and many others likely will consider purchasing it. Until then I will use smoke signals to communicate.

Bought all the parts and the ptt doesn’t seem to transmit on my beofeng uv5r. Disappointed with the product 😢

Can you just hook up a 3.5 aux mic for a gamer headset?? It should already have the comms switch on it as well

Walkers sells a walkers razer walkie talkie attachment for 50 bucks. But i dont know much about them and have heard complaints about the mic sometimes snapping off.

They are terrible… Not nearly as much range or clarity that you will get by hooking up into an actual radio.

⁠⁠@@theoriginaldashriprockyeah but comms aren’t for a casual range day or farm work. People who want this type of setup are probably thinking SHTF with a small group of buddies who they shoot/train with. The walkers won’t perform when your 600 yards away on the other side of a mountain
