it's really good against mono red usually unless they have the nut draw. 26 lands is correct too. bankbuster is also an amazing card. this deck can be aggro and midrange depending on the situation. it's a great deck.

Welcome back Mr. Jefe!! BTW most of the decks are prepare against mono black. At the start of the season, you can't play 3 games in a row without playing at least 1 black deck.

I dont understand why Field of Ruin is listed for these Mono Black decks... If you look over standard non-basic lands and the current meta... there is almost no reason to use Field of Ruin. I took them all out of my deck. the only nonbasic I use is a single Takenuma, Abandoned Mire for the utility (having 2 can be ok, but I've lost too many times because I've drawn the second takenuma when I needed a basic)
