@27:30 when he wipes his board, I think he was trying to get your Pitlord in Cut Down range but didn't count his mana correctly.

I remember playing around a time where the primo discard spell was still Hymn to Tourach. Random discards just have a different feel to it.

I made an update this deck by adding Graveyard Transpasser and Lilianna. Such a good care when opponent can't remove it because they don't have card to discard for the ward cost.

Those mana droughts were rough man. I would throw in some Black/Red dual lands so you could still kick the Aggressive Sabotage for extra dmg in the late game. Also probably 1-2 Lillianas to replace Dread Fugue/Pilfer. She could be the extra removal that you need

Absolutely agree. Makes no sense making a discard deck without at least 2 or 3 Lilis for extra discard and removal and also would help a lot throwing some red mana there to cast Aggressive Sabotage for damage since he doesn't have much creatures to hit the opponent.

Like at 42 min you play out sylex rather than she old red then say go block two his guys with your guys then no matter what he does you blow up world next turn drop she old red and she sitting on a clean board ready to wreak shop

Tried this for fun...but instead of Pitlord I changed that to Sheoldred

Game 1 is classic example of too much discard and no pressure, discard decks are good with some added pressure cards, maybe add trespasser ?

I would definitely play around with different cards! Trespasser isn’t a bad idea at all, and Lilliana could fit as well. I didn’t really want to lose the highest chance for an early game discard curve, but at the same time I do agree that it has a chance to fizzle out late game. Let me know what you come up with!

This deck sounds good. If you can devastate the opponent with massive discards in the early game you can easily control them in the mid game. I'm kinda curious why you didn't run Virus Beetle? It's a 1/1 that forces discard when it enters the battle field.

I originally did! I took it out to have more end game win-cons, mass removal with Meathook (beats shield counters/indestructible) and the life gain with March of Wretched sorrow. I also liked that we can choose what they discard with pilfer. Definitely worth a go in the deck though! If you try finding a spot for him, let me know how it goes! 😁

@@comokazijeff I think it’s better than old school disk just think when you have your she old red out and Sykes for three mid game how devastated your opponent is most of the time and your she old red still sitting pretty. I put 4 in every deck cuz it’s always a good reset wile you set up! Can’t tell you how many times people are so used to just playing out their hand even with Karen out on board then I just blow up the world and drop my bomb especially after decimating their hand with my discard! No hand no board while I start dumping on them!
