I have 200hrs on my Kioti CK2610HST I use it harder than I probably should and it has taken everything that I've thrown at it. I'm very happy with my purchase and I'm extremely happy with my dealer. One of these years I'll make it down to the show. I think my wife make's sure we have something going on so I won't go and get ideas to buy something else!

Neat Video! I went to the 2013 show when I was still in the farming related field but due to life changes. I'm now employed as a ground's crew worker at the local golf course in WI. Golf course machines are very expensive and getting worse all the time. Last summer wanting to upgrade a 110 inch zero turn into a new one for 50K+ gave us a new vision for idea's. Compact tractor and 11ft. pull behind mower for 44k roughly. The tractor does so much extra over just a straight zero turn mower it's a great upgrade for us. It's a LS turf special 4155. Our second choice would have been a Kioti but by optioning it the way we wanted would have been 3k more. Nh is a Ls rebadged and that would have been 8k more for a name. So shopping and comparing can save a bunch of money if you do homework. A event like NFMS to compare brands might be a new tool to use in the future.

Who would have thought a month later the entire country would be shut down after this video was posted. Going on 3 months now since I put in an order for an L4060 HSTC with loader. None available anywhere. Same with a vast majority of tractors and implements. I hope things turn around soon and get back to normal so we can once again enjoy these trade shows and see the new goodies.

You Guys hit on the small tractor thing very very well and so many options to look at for the consumer which is what these Major Tractor Makers are starting to take notice of more when Farming side is slowing down.. Just go into some of the Major Brand Dealers and talk to with the guy than sells the lawn/garden and small tractors under 120 horse is most likely the #1 sales person in that store since Consumers tend to have more money to spend on small things more often than I do with my big 300-600 horse tractors that I have to run for 7-10 years

Its nice to see how one very small tractor company Kubota (at the time) can design a tractor and everyone else in the industry follows along and starts to make the same sub compact tractor style.

There's so many tractors and equipment that I walked away more confused than ever. That been said I narrowed it down to 3. I still feel in the compact John deere has the upper hand just because of the finish and little details such as ergonomics, the way its built in general. Feels more quality.

Thanks for the insight and a request for a future episode - the tractor world could use a good old fashioned car and truck analogy for us beginners, such as which tractor companies are comparable to Ford, Chevy and GMC and who are the Honda, Toyota and Hyundai's, followed by which model is the best selling Camry, F150 or newest redesigned Cadillac model. The majority of tractor reviews ultimately state that every brand will do what the user wants and the best tractor to buy is whichever dealership is closest. I'm just looking around to understand which tractor is best for my 10-acre hobby farm in terms of initial cost, features, operating expenses and reliability/warranty.

There's some beautiful looking rigs there - lots of compacts, but can they back them with parts? Make sure you do your homework. My Mahindra eMax 25 sat for 2 months waiting for a seal for the front axle. I just wonder about parts availability and service. In my town, the Mahindra dealer is a motorcycle shop. Great eye candy, but I see potential parts and service problems.

What did you think of the tar river attachments? Ive seen them for the first time at Good Works Tractors. I thought they seemed to be well made.

Hey Tim - I just got a 60" John Deere plow blade for my X758 and I got the Heavy Hitch UHMW cutting edge that you used in a video. My question is, being I am new to the plowing world, what level do you place the skid shoes at? I have a smooth blacktop driveway, but the road I live on is like a 20 grit sand paper. Very rough indeed! I am thinking you place the shoes just a bit above the cutting edge level, so when the cutting edge wears a bit, the plow slides along the cutting edge and the shoes together and wears evenly from that point forward? I used the plow one time on my driveway, and I can see where it definitely wore a small amount with the skid shoes set about 1" to 1.5" above the cutting edge. Just want to maximize the life of both the shoes and cutting edge. Thanks in advance for your help!

It is impossible to find a compact (35 HP) tractor to replace an 8N to bush hog a 20 degree hill I want to go across. Or at least make a turn on with fear for my life. I also want the loader and Ventrac is way too expensive. What happened to heavily bowed reversible rims on Ag tires?

Can you get in touch with the product manager for the jd 3e's and let them know those hydrostatic transmissions are geared way too high. Full throttle wont even allow it to pull just the weight of the tractor itself up a hill on the highway without having to stop and switch to low range. I've been considering one of those l3560's. Test drove one last week and it is geared down properly. It has the power to the wheels, and in my opinion thats most important aspect. And its 10k less than 3r with cab

I think the KZfaq world has has a lot to do with compact tractors getting in the shows and I also believe that companies are seeing the growth of the small farm. So many things are happening because the Country is booming money is flowing agricultural is rising to its former glory, when the American farm family was abundant.

I don't have a problem with tie rods in front or behind the axel as long as they are above the bottom of the axel. On JD the are behind the axle which is fine but they also hang down below the bottom of the axel which is a major major design flaw.

I won't even consider one without a cab. Ran enough even in nice weather to not want it

Economy and profitability that is what I look for when I buy a machine resale value and color paint and decal really doesn't matter you guys I understand you're in the play tractor business may I use my machines to make a living my little coyotes they do double-duty they clean up cow crap and chicken crap out of low clearance Barnes. And my small LS tractors I have to be able to turn around on small acreage because most of my plot for my vegetables is in 2 acre plots so if my LS tractor is $16,000 and the New Holland version of the tractor is $21,000 which one would you buy and the John Deere version of my tractor which is nearly a 4 Series because when you put mine side-by-side with a 3 Series mine's just a lot bigger which one would you choose if you had to make up living and you had to pay your bills would you buy the $16,000 tractor or the 24,000 or the $28,000 tractor 6 year warranty on both of them or all three of them which one are you going to spend your money on if you've got kids standing there waiting to eat. Not saying you guys are wrong about the quality of this or the quality of that I'm just saying get a 6-year warranty they're all pretty much made in Korea they either gotta Chavira a Yanmar or Mitsubishi engine in them so what's the difference

"integrating" is not always good. They are making it more complicated for the end user to work on their own equipment after the warranty runs out. Infact after looking at a lot of tractors I chose a tractor where the loader control and fittings are easy to get to front and up. Not routed and hop through another reconnect point under the tractor. Just to make it so called ergonomic.

I will agree and disagree with you guys. The farm show is great for the 1000 plus acre farmer and the 50 and under farmers. But there was an major disconnect for the small family run Farmer that have 50 plus acres in the big tractors brands. John Deere had no five or 6 series tractors which is up our alley so other then the restored JD, we were disappointed. But it been this way since 2010. But me and dad still go each year since me enjoy seeing stuff we can never use
