Yes. If the I/O light is flashing, it means that there it cannot communicate with one or more I/O modules. Look on the lower left side of the controller organizer in studio, and look for an I/O module with a yellow triangle with exclamation point. You can disable it if it is no longer part of the project or perhaps remove it from the project.
