Awesome! The powers of writing letters (emails these days). When I was a teenager I wrote a company about a product I had bought, and some of the product had failed. They sent me a bunch of replacement parts.

Thank you so much for this! I did the same and so far have recieved from colgate-palmolive, chobani, pop chips, nissan, and la tortilla factory. Ive gotten like 100 emails saying they would love to mail me some though!

I Love your series! I am on a roll sending emails! I had my twins in January and now have a family of 5 to feed along with supplementing formula since they well need it. So if I can get some coupons for food I am so happy to do it! This is my second year couponing, but I had to take a break when I was pregnant and on bedrest.

When you e-mail a company about their product, do you include your home address?

If their contact form has a space for it, yes. If it doesn’t and they do send coupons, they email back and ask for my address.

Great question! I started couponing because I had to. I’m a stay at home mom and our budget is super tight. Before my daughter was born, we just blew money like we had it. And we didn’t. So in order for us to have food on the table and basic necessities, I had to learn how to coupon. But honestly, it’s become a hobby. I love getting a good deal 😂 I live about an hour north of Houston.

Woodlands? Or Conroe I’m in Huntsville lol 1 and half from Houston! I started couponing about a year and half ago and I left my job as a prison guard to finish my schooling at shsu:) my husband and I did the same when we were working for the state of Texas but after we left to go back to school full time we realized that money was tight and I decided to coupon. I was just wondering I felt like you lived close to Houston by the way you talk. I’m from Kansas so I recognized certain things about Texas

lol sometimes I uber in the woodlands/Conroe and I can’t just tell at Sam with the college kids. They have kind of a mix with Texas/little bit Southern California lol Be careful with this storm though tonight. Luckily my kids just got out of dance class before it started!

I also have done this telling the companies how much I liked or would really like to try them out. You did great! How long ago did you start your channel??? I started my channel almost 2 weeks ago.
