Jamie is from 1746, in the aftermath of the Battle of Culloden. Still agree with you on that Jamie is an awesome companion.

It's a shame that nowadays the higher-ups in BBC want every new companion to be from modern day Earth, hence why the forward-thinking, ahead-of-her-time Victorian era Clara was effectively retconned to be more of a plot device with the Impossible Girl arc. Clara was still quite good as a fast-thinking, witty companion (especially with 12), but I still think it could've been done much better with the Clara we first see.

Probably some of the best, most well produced video series I've seen on KZfaq. It was like watching a movie. Doctor Who makes it so compelling ... You can't help but root for him. 👍👍👍

I want to see a single mom with a toddler companion. The kid would have so much fun and have such a great child hood. The mom would look at every adventure with wide eyes but coward in fear every time she saw a situation put her child in harms way. After all these years wed be more than ready for our spin on the Tardis, but our children come first. Sometimes those little mess makers teach us how to live all over again.

This isn't about first adventures, it's about discovery and it is her first trip into the past and the scene chosen does centre around her taking that in. The weird inclusions are the exits, like Sarah's is literally her returning to a normal life, which is the opposite of discovering the whoniverse

I think they would, they obviously invented (or perfected?) the TARDIS so they must have a way of mapping the multiple dimensions a TARDIS is engineered out of. They can probably tell within a second there's one Time Lord and one human on board

So the new companion is named Ruby Sunday. I have a feeling that they are she and the new doctor are going to meet The Rolling Stones and she is going to be the inspiration for the song goodbye Ruby Tuesday. anybody else think that might be happening? Like the comment if you think so

21:40 Hartnells heartfelt speech is one of my favorite moments of who history! As a doctor he was sometimes cold, but he had a heartfelt love of his Susan! I'm really happy with how he was portrayed in "a journey through time and space"

That ending in Legend of the Sea Devils resonates and is one thirteen's moments that proves she has a lot of depth. The line "Everything ends and that's always sad, but everything begins again and that's always happy..." from the twelfth doctor carries over in that scene for me looking back. I like how in Segun Akinola's scores the music cuts out for some moments between characters and it's just the sounds, only for it to come back in the end.

Interesting. I see you included Mrs Flood as if she's a companion. I suspect she will be. She's not Ruby, She went with the Doctor right after telling him he looked like he'd lost a quid and found sixpence. They did something to do with Ruby's birth. Then they came back, and she sat back down and waited for Ruby. My guess for Ruby is that she's River's daughter.

maybe she doesn't live in a polarized state of mind like some people - perhaps you? What you think is obvious and "facts" says more about you than about someone else. She was raised by a black mother and grandmother. Being black was nothing special in her own life.

While most people aren't afraid to just say black, when looking for a specific person who is black, do you truly find it unrealistic she mentioned he was hot instead?
