I’ve learned when I was young superlative needs the definite article “the”. But often time I observe that’s not true in conversational English such as “I love my mom most” etc. Is it grammatically correct to teach my younger kids that you don’t need “the” before superlative? Also I’m curious the usage of “lesser” as well. Thanks immensely for the clarity.
