that's DPS per gun turret, not the whole ship

@@jasonli2474 A Thunderhead frigate does 50 dps with its one gun. A Summit battleship does 3*150=450 dps with its 3 guns. So it does 9× the DPS, but it costs 35.7× the mass -- which is still worth it because it has 5.3× the range, but makes it vulnerable to being rushed. Also, one full Summit volley is 9*1000 damage (every 20 seconds), but a Thunderhead only has 2120 HP, so a battleship shooting a frigate is complete overkill, and thus you need the spam of your own to deal with the little guys.

Same as PD -- the T1 and T2 PDs have essentially the same DPS, but the T2 cost way more mass because of its extra range.

And for same mass you get 5 galaxies compared to 4 summits.

Problem with Summit is they have slow RoF. They have higher range but they lose to the sustained fire of groups of other battleships.

Very true. I forgot about that in the video. I need to incorporate that in the future when I talk about eco impact.

@@TheDuelist That's is something that I only recently comprehend and that why I'm loving the t1 spam because I don't have to spend time teching up. They are a great bank for buck. But when the space become a issue they get out perform byt more expensive tec. I'm may be on the other extreme now >

Did you know that if a factory assist a other one they complete the factory assisted queue that is rely helpful to get a balanced army and quick to execute and it work whit different tech factory. Example if you have 2 2t tack and 3 1t artillery and 1t2 factory and 2 t1 factory the t2 factory will make the tanks and the t1 make the artillery

There are 100% plans to incorporate other RTS's into this channel. Sins (and a lot of the mods for Sins) and Stellaris are two that I had thought of among a few others like Homeworld and Zero K. The long term plan I have for the channel is to continue a core focus on Sup Com (mostly because it's my favorite), but to have videos for other RTS's that don't have Microsoft funneling millions into marketing (ala AOE2 Definitive) and can be forgotten. Nothing wrong with AOE, but there are a lot of other games in the genre that are masterpieces in their own right and I would like to give them the love they deserve.

Are any of the above mentioned games comparable to sup com?
