The light blonde around the face is called the “money shot”. It’s very popular in salons these days. And that pale Golden honey 🍯 is fabulous in the sun. WOW 🤩

Taz, thanks so much for this timely video! I wanted to change to the Raquel Welch brand with Upstage (I loved this wig when you reviewed it). However I was having trouble finding a color that wasn’t too ashy. I tried the shaded biscuit and the biscuit and had to send them back. Then, I saw this video comparing all 3 colors and saw the pale golden honey will be perfect for me! I ordered it right away! Thanks for your help and for sharing you knowledge with us.

SS Biscuit has always attracted me but I have never ordered anything in that color because I always feared it would be way too light for me.Now I am not too sure! Love both of these shades on you Taz. Very pretty!

Believe it or not, the part of the video that was most helpful to me personally was at the very end, where you showed all 3 wigs lying on the floor. My fave remains pale golden honey, because my skin is so light that dark roots look too harsh on me. Thanks very much for this video!

The Pale Golden Honey is a bit mysterious to me. Do you think, knowing me, that it would be too warm? I was surprised that you said the front was ashy highlights, but that was also encouraging! It comes across my monitor almost yellowish, which is why I am asking. Thanks so much, my friend. I always love getting your perspectives. ~Cynthia

Yeah.. honey is one of those chameleon colors! Depending on the light, it can look differently. It has a bit of yellowish.. but its not terribly warm. But is LIGHT in tone, so I cannot say whether you would like it. I really hope they expand their new RL1621SS to more styles! XOXO

I hope so, too, on the SS Glazed Sand! I think I might like it. You know, I guess I need to break out of my box and go lighter sometimes. As long as there is a little warmth in there somewhere, some ash, and it's not gray, I may just have more fun in my elder years, LOL. I need to- so much today is *not* fun! ~Cynthia

You have really inspired me and I'v gotten up the nerve to finally consider buying a wig! I am looking for something similar to my color though which is a medium grey. I have my hair cut very short like yours due to the alopecia. I really love the short layered bob styles. What is your idea fav for the color I need and style>

Hi Taz thank you for you incredible help ful videos. I am a over 65 with a one handed ability to secure wigs. I have used double sided tape gots- 2b g3l and spray. I have a average head size and using Gabor and Rachele wigs. I still feel the the back is riding up. Any suggestions for a more successful wig experience?

Hi Stephanie and WELCOME! It sounds like you're doing all the right things. I recommend you be sure the wig is not too tight on you. It sounds counter intuitive, but a tight will is more likely to ride up in the back than a loose wig. It's also a possibility that your head is shaped in a way that won't support and stabilize the back of the cap:-) Wishing you luck! XOXO

@@TAZSWIGCLOSET Hi Taz it has been a week or so Waring my Gabor and my Rachel wigs. For thoughts of you are one handed or unable to lift you hands above your shoulders, place a double sided tape strip and you nape. I had mine shaved 1 inch up for the tape. Place 2 small tape pieces at the front areas of the wig at the middle of your eyes alignment at your hair line. And taxa the wig will not move at all. Hope this helps

Oh Da. I put the it on being sure to secure the nape area first, then pull the wig. Up and onto your hair-line. Press down on the double sided tape. So far so good

I'm starting to hate roots. Especially for women over 60. I want my hair to look realistic but great. I don't think roots make a wig look realistic. If only they would make a realistic part one that you can actually see.
