Hey Rob It's not a question of exaggeration. I think our eyes are the best cameras in the world. 750 million pixels per eye for information. And so if you observe an image in real life, you will see that it's impeccably sharp and the interest of this demonstration in the video shows that we must go in this direction. It's just a matter of time and patience for people to accept this new way of seeing cinema in the future. But we don't have to agree, it's just my opinion.

So.. are these actual releases or is this something you do as a custom? If so, are you aware of MySpleen?

So… are these actual releases or custom work you do on your PC? Some of them (like this and *The Blob (1986)* look _excellent!_ 9:37 wow… I like the added detail on the files under the lamp. On the blu-ray, the contrast is blown out. I am appreciating the better color timing on this (and *The Blob)* better than the blus. I would love to see an AI upscaled *Excalibur, Road Warrior* and *Angel Heart.* Also, what would happen if you used an AI upscaler on a 4K release like *Blade Runner,* which already looks fantastic? Would it create even more detail? I could also see this technology being used to improve existing digital releases. Both *The Terminator (1984)* and the 4K release of Kurosawa’s *Ran (1985)* look great detail wise, but they’re mired by horrible modern color timings *(Ran* has a blanket teal tint over everything). Is there a way to “color match” previous releases, as the *Ran* dvd still has the natural, original color timing?

You can use TOPAZ Veai for upscaling DAVINCI Resolve for Color timing.
