On a calabrated tv and or projector its an amazing transfer i love it detail is so crisp and hdr makes colors pop. the yellow of the car he drives to pick up franks wife pops off screen

My moonization The movie its 14.99 on iTunes I’ll give it a shot, I really do love this movie I grew up watching The Godfather, Good Fellas, Casino, Mean Streets, etc. Some people are flipping about Scorsese’s comments about Marvel movies, and the thing is that as much as I love the comic book genre, they are movies that satisfy the kid in me, but they are closing the door on other genres that don’t make a billion per movie. We have been sitting on the comic book wagon for about a decade, and then we get the Irishman, and it reminds us what cinema is about. Cinema is not only about entertaining audiences with amazing green screen locations, or good comic punchlines. We need more of these compelling story’s. Actors like, Anthony Hopkins, Pacino, Deniro, Pesci, Liotta, Eastwood, Nicholson (retired) are still alive and we need to make the most out of the time they have left, but the millions comercial popcorn flicks like Marvel are taking that away from the industry

Watching this on KZfaq on a phone / tablet or whatever will not do it justice. The HDR and colors are much better, let alone the resolution. On a 4K TV this movie looks amazing. I have the DVD and Blu Ray versions, but the 4K is the way to watch this in 2019.

Frankly……absolutely. Without mentioning the DTS X sound which is really immersive, but that's my subjective opinion.

@taun not really, studios can still play with colour and brightness from the original 4k negative scans.

You're watching a compressed youtube video. You probably also dont have an actual 4K tv that does REAL HDR10/DOLBY VISION. Trust me it is a big difference
