Looks like a good transfer and the black levels are definitely an upgrade over the blue ray. For me that’s enough to buy it again, love this movie.

6:22 - At first I seriously thought it was the Joker from The Dark Knight, the makeup and smile are so similar.

This is impressive. By far one the greatest upgrades ever from Paramount. I honestly don't know if Paramount finally learned their lesson at restoring films, or if their were fans of proper restoration working on this release. Usually, Paramount is awful at 4Ks. Not this one though. Fantastic.

It's, a really nice transfer, some of the scenes looking completely different in terms of colour grading, a lot of scenes improving skin details and textures then the strange odd decision to pump up some colours that actually looked quite natural on blu ray, the blu ray was pretty good looking though this 4k has the edge on the finer details, there's beads of sweat on actors faces that are apparent, on the blu ray, the colours can be muted and sometimes skin tones appeared either too waxy or ran too hot in any given scene. Iam glad they gave this a very faithful video transfer and the dolby vision HDR really helps elevate those black levels pushing colours and white levels more accurately

Proves the Blu-ray was already near perfect. Not much room to improve. Thankfully they didn't try to get superfluously flippant with alledged "upgrade" augmentations which undermine the integrity of the intended aesthetic presentation.

Blu ray looks better over all like normal
