That was my dad's food, ksoyas, I ate smoked eel as a child, I loved eel bc my father did. Another thing, were Native we have the right to harvest first and traditional food's on our lands, our laws are different than yours. I also got to fish for Eels in Canada.

Ya my kuthla told me her father used to go down to the river when it was time to fish and they use to catch eel and cook em, I haven’t been down to the river and awhile have to go down sometime
